For some, being busy means missing an occasional long lunch and for others it means missing out on lunch altogether. For a few others, it means not being able to take sick leave once a month. And, there is a group of people who are working every evening and have a normal weekend and their rhythm of their life is frantic. Most of the senior executives have a workload which swings between extremely busy and frenzied. AT Kearney, a vice president of the management consultancy for the Asia-Pacific Region, says his work weeks vary from a manageable 45 hours to 80 hours, but average 60 hours.

Sleep, scheduling, and family - these are the warning signs which alerts Plumridge about workload. He finds he has more work when he gets less than six hours of sleep consistently  for three days and when he is constantly  rescheduling his appointments. Being “too busy” is different for different people. The perception of being busy for any individual, showing up as stress: disturbed sleep, declining physical and mental health. National workers’ compensation reports say stress plays a main role in workplace injury.

Even employees who are off work suffer stress for an average of 16.6 weeks. The outcomes of stress are also expensive. According to Experts, the important thing about handling stress is not about relieving it by playing or taking massages, but reassessing workloads. Answer Questions 1-7 which are based on the reading passage below.

Terminated Dinosaur Era

More often, we are getting information about how anthropogenic development plays a role in global warming. In the age of media hype, We should separate which information is based on evidence and which is not. The expert you listen to and the statistics you study determines it.

Yes, it is true that there is a lot of evidence to indicate that the world is getting warmer, with one of the world’s leading weather predictors stating that air temperatures have frown an increase of just under half a degree Celsius since the beginning of the twentieth century. And while this may not sound like anything worth losing sleep over, the international press would have us believe that the consequences could be devastating. Other experts, however, are of the opinion that what we are seeing is just part of a natural upward and downward swing that has always been part of the cycle of global weather. An analysis of the views of major meteorologists in the United States showed that less than 20% of them believed that any change in temperature over the last hundred years was our own fault – the rest attributed it to natural cyclical changes.

It is true that there is an enormous amount of evidence supporting the claim that the world is getting hotter. The weather prediction of world’s leading weather predictors stated that the temperature of the air has increased about only under half a degree Celsius since the twentieth century began. Though it is not a big deal, the international press claimed that consequences will be devastating. Several experts had the opinion that these changes are only natural, it has always been in the cycle of global weather. Analysing the views of top meteorologists in the United States, we are able to find that less than 20% of them believed that we are the cause of the occurrence of any change in temperature over the last 100 years. The rest of the believed, natural cyclical changes in the causal factor.

There is, of course, no denying that we are still at a very early stage in understanding weather. The effects of such variables as rainfall, cloud formation, the seas and oceans, gases such as methane and ozone, or even solar energy are still not really understood, and therefore the predictions that we make using them cannot always be relied on.

It is a widely known fact that we are still at the very early stage in terms of understanding the weather. The variables we are handling such as rainfall, the seas and oceans, cloud formation, gases like methane and ozone, even solar energy are not precisely understood. Hence, the predictions we make based on those predictions will not be relied on.

Dr James Hansen  predicted that effects of global warming could raise the world temperature which might cause disastrous consequences for mankind: “a strong cause arid effect relationship between the current climate and human alteration of the atmosphere”. He states that practice of using the artificial models of climate to predict the changes is not a possible task. Strangely, he believes that the world will be much greener rather than getting hotter. He attributes this to this: an increase of carbon dioxide could increase vegetation in the frozen wastelands.
