Established in 1924, the Bible College of South Australia formerly known as the Adelaide Bible Institute focuses on teaching “theology of ministry”. For many years it was known as Adelaide Bible Institute. But in 1973 it was renamed Bible College of South Australia. In 1990 the college partnered with Burleigh Baptist Theological College to teach and offer Bachelor's degrees in Theology and Ministry of the Australian College of Theology which is one of the countries oldest and largest providers of theological education. The college is located in the city of Adelaide which is the capital of South Australia. It offers undergraduate and graduate programs on Theology and Ministry. The Bible College is among the most diverse colleges as students come from a wide range of backgrounds and interests.

Campus Life

The college is located in Adelaide at Wattle Street. The college has been located in various parts of South Australia since its beginning. In 1950 it was located at Payneham. Then in 1962, due to an increase in the number of students, it was moved to larger premises in Victor Harbour. And in 1978, a decision was made to move it to the city. The college also provides facilities like health centers, gymnasiums, clinics, and sporting facilities. The city of Adelaide is one of the most famous historical cities in Australia. It is the 5th most populated city in Australia and also one of the best places for students to live. The students at the Bible College enjoy occasional visits to the Adelaide Central Market or have a glimpse of the world-famous Oval Cricket Stadium.
