California State University Bakersfield covers an area of 375 acres, becoming the 20th school in the 23 campus system of California State University. California State Bakersfield uses advanced facilities and technology to conduct scientific research. Facilities include materials science engineering laboratory, computer graphics, and simulation laboratory, plant physiology laboratory and element composition laboratory, wireless communication laboratory, robotics laboratory, behavioral neuroscience laboratory, etc. are availed by the sophomores. Students participate in campus clubs and organizing activities in order to gain valuable life skills. They learn about promoting gatherings, how to motivate people, reconcile conflicts, manage funds and other valuable skills.
