Eastern Kentucky University (EKU), established in the year 1906, is a public university situated in Richmond, Kentucky, and providing over 40 undergraduate and graduate options for students from all across the globe. Campus Life

More than 230 registered student organizations are active on campus, including Greek chapters, political organizations, student government associations, EKU Bass Masters, EKU Archery Club, Phi Beta Lambda, Cynder's Inn, EKU Kendo Club, and EKU Animation Club. Many of these organizations hold regular events and fundraising events. Furthermore, University Housing & Residence Life provides apartment-style living and provides all the conveniences of campus life. The student apartment building has more than 500 rooms. Moreover, the campus is strategically located in order to inculcate as many facilities as possible. In addition, the campus apartment provides separate bedrooms and bathrooms with a shared living room, a separate kitchen, and a private laundry room. The campus of the university is highly equipped with the latest technology with all amenities. So, students can take the benefits of all the facilities and can feel homely.

So far, many well-known personalities have been graduated from the university, some of them are Josh Anderson ((baseball) center fielder, Cincinnati Reds), Eula Bingham (noted occupational health scientist), Tom Colbert (first African-American Oklahoma Supreme Court Justice (M.Ed.)), Silas House (American writer is best known for his novels).
