MacEwan University is a public undergraduate university located in Edmonton, Alberta. It was basically founded as Grant MacEwan University in 1971. Currently, the university is offering courses in fine arts, business, communications, engineering and various other courses too. The University offers transfer credit options to students who have studied their post secondary courses from other institutions.To promote further education of the students the university provides scholarships and recognitions to boost their confidence.

Campus Life

The university is proud of its 19,000 full time and part time students who are connected with them online and offline. For students who want a safe escape from their chaotic life, the university has a space to indulge in a lot of sport activities like volleyball, basketball, hockey, golf etc. Currently, the university has 2 magnificent campuses namely the City Centre Campus and Alberta College Campus. These campuses offer academic learning with some special courses on music and ESL (English as second language courses).

Some shining stars of the university are Emmett Hartfield who is co-founder of the Intelligence House, Mark power who is a filmmaker and writer and Dr. D. Scharie Tavcer, the associate professor at the Mount Royal University.
