The university sits on 882 acres of land which has more than 40 buildings. The campus has been bifurcated into two parts that are agricultural research farm and environmental education center. Blazer Library has a large collection and a variety of books as an information source for the students. Moreover, the university has a lot to offer like the world's largest research planting programs that come up with an initiative of new tree-fruit in Kentucky. The university provides on-campus services like disability services, parking, health and wellness and so on. The student's recreational activities are organized on campus by Kentucky State University. Some of the activities are welcome week, homecoming, winter fest, diversity week and leadership events to acknowledge the students about the leadership.
