LETHBRIDGE COLLEGE

Lethbridge College was established in the year 1957. The college is an integral part of Alberta Rural Development Network and was the first institution to start a community college in Canada with the help of public funding. The college offers over 50 nationally accredited and recognized applied degrees, apprenticeship programs and career training programs for its students to choose from. The students can also pursue their bachelor's degree in subjects like applied science and applied arts. The college has a transfer agreement with some renowned universities such as the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary.

Campus Life

The main campus of Lethbridge college resides in the heart of Lethbridge along with various regional campuses located in Claresholm, Vulcan Country, and Crowsnest Pass. The college offers athletic activities for both men and women such as soccer, golf, cross- country running, volleyball etc. The college has an active students support faculty and their own on-campus media organization called the Lethbridge Campus Media. Under the Campus Media, they have a newspaper published quarterly called Endeavour newspaper. The campus also has a student-run radio station named The Kodiak and an e-news forum which helps the students actively engage in the community and build their communication skills.

The graduates of Lethbridge College consist of a strong group of professionals from over 132 countries around the globe. Some of the renowned alumni names include actor and comedian called Gavin Crawford, and Kevin Morales who is a Sound and audio engineer who work for numerous films and television series among many more.
