North Island College, aka NIC, a community college established in 1975, is located primarily in Courtenay, British Columbia, Canada. NIC has four campuses, the largest campus is in the Comox Valley, in Courtenay; moreover there are also campuses in Campbell River, Port Alberni, and Port Hardy. North Island College offers more than 980 courses and 80 programs in Healthcare, Trades, Business, Fine Arts, Tourism with a classification among Degrees, Diplomas, and Certificates. Another interesting fact is that it offers a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with majors in General Management, Marketing, and Accounting, in partnership with Vancouver Island University - VIU. 

Campus Life

NIC amenities include four campuses and three centers serving a population of more than 157,000 and a gigantic arena of 80,000 square kilometers. Class sizes are small and ensure attention to detail to every student. Tuition is affordable and has pocket-friendly residences around the campus. With an exclusive array of transfer agreements, NIC is also an excellent place for international studies. Nonetheless, scholarships and bursaries are awarded to the deserving candidates. Work Integrated learning and Job search support also assess the student’s caliber at every step. Annual Job fairs help every student to pursue their dream job in Global and highly valuable organizations.
