Founded in 1956, University of New Orleans (UNO) is a public research university located in New Orleans, Louisiana. The programs offered at New Orleans are designed keeping in mind the demands in the current market, which results in high graduate employability. It offers programs in graduate, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. Programs are offered in various domains such as liberal arts, health science, engineering, hotel management, arts, naval architecture, interdisciplinary studies and business. Campus Life

Nestled in the beautiful city of New Orleans is the campus of the University of New Orleans. The 195-acre campus has 9 different schools are spread across the campuses in the city and nearby towns. The campuses are connected by the public transport facility making commute easy for students. Students can enjoy amazing recreational opportunities of cycling trails and beautiful caves. UNO’s athletic department, famously known as the New Orleans Privateers sponsors over 22 sports, 11 for men and 11 for women! The university provides on-campus and off-campus residence for its students. It provides a diverse and ethnocultural community that helps the students develop lifelong relations with other students. Various cafeterias and restaurants are located on campus where the students can enjoy a wide array of cuisines. For health and wellness, the university has the Wellness Centre that provides medical treatments like dental, therapy and counselling and routine checkups to students.
