The dMAT exam fee is €150 or 16,474/- INR as per the current currency exchange rate of 1 EUR = 109.83 INR. The payment details will be shown on the official APS India dMAT page and on g.a.s.t.'s own portal.

dMAT is newly launched, administered by g.a.s.t. (Gesellschaft für Akademische Studienvorbereitung und Testentwicklung). The dMAT will apply to Master’s applicants, applying for Summer Semester 2027 intake or thereafter, whose previous degree is either Engineering, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or Management.

How to Pay the dMAT Exam Fee from India?

1) First, go to the official g.a.s.t. registration page and create your g.a.s.t. participant account.
2) Update details as given in your passport. Any discrepancies may lead to delays in certification.
3) Choose a dMAT test centre from the ten listed Indian cities: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kolkata, Mananthavady, Mumbai, New Delhi, Pune. Seats are allocated first-come, first-served. 
4) Pay the €150 fee online, either credit card or direct debit. In exceptional cases, payment can be made at the test centre.
5) Save your payment confirmation. Take print out and keep all transaction data related to the booking along with the Terms and Conditions. Use the transaction data while claiming for a refund or raising a payment query.

When to Pay the dMAT Exam Fee?

Here's the month-by-month calendar plan, in tandem with the Indian academic year, to pay the dMAT exam fee.

The first dMAT registration opened on 29 June 2026.

August 2026 Keep your other APS documents ready parallely rather than waiting on your dMAT certificate. Since this is the very first dMAT cycle in India, expect slots to be filled faster. So submit your APS documents first.
Early September 2026 Book your test centre and travel arrangements earliest if your location is not in the ten listed cities.
15 September 2026 Registration deadline. Beyond this date you cannot register, deregister, or claim a refund (unless under specific conditions).
26 September 2026 dMAT test date. Bring your passport, since identity checks happen before and during the test.
12 October 2026 Results and certificates appear on the g.a.s.t. portal. Submit this alongside your other APS documents as soon as it’s ready.

What are the dMAT Exam Fee Refund, Cancellation and Deregistration Rules?

According to g.a.s.t.’s official terms, your dMAT exam fee refund is based on when you cancel.

Cancellation Policy:

  • The only way to cancel is via the g.a.s.t. participation portal. Cancelling by email or simply skipping the exam are not considered.
  • If you do not appear on test day without formally deregistering, it is taken as a no-show (not a cancellation).
  • Leaving the exam in the middle is treated as a discontinued exam and has the same outcome as a no-show.

Deregistration Rules:

  • Deregistration is only possible through the dMAT participation portal.
  • The online exam fee payment (credit card or debit card) will be credited to your account, except an administrative fee of up to 15%.
  • If you paid the exam fee at the test centre, the test centre will refund the amount.
  • If you deregister after the registration deadline, do not attend the exam or discontinue the exam, the exam fee will not be refunded. You will not receive your dMAT certificate.

Attention:

  • APS may contact your school/college/university for academic verification and expect response only from their official email address (gmail.com and personal domains are not accepted).
  • Do not send any original documents along with your application.
  • If documents are not in English, attach a notarized English translation of the document.
