The PTE is a computerized exam and can be written from home. The exam pattern consists of four modules- PTE reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The result of the exam will be declared within 5-7 days.

‘To get an Australian student visa, a minimum PTE score of 42 is required. A minimum score of 36 is also accepted if the candidate attends at least 10 weeks of English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS) and a minimum score of 30 is accepted if a student attends 20 weeks of (ELICOS)’.

- Permanent Employer Sponsor under Temporary Residence Transition Stream Visa Holders: Should complete 5 years of full-time study in English.
