4 Dick Martin Scholarship Award $3,000 1 year Any student enrolled, either full-time or part-time, in an occupational health and safety-related course or program leading to an occupational health and safety certificate, diploma, or degree at an accredited college or university in Canada. To apply for the award, post-secondary students are invited to submit a 1,000-1,200 word essay, cover letter, and completed online application form.
5 Partnership Grants by Social Science and Humanities Research Council in Canada

Stage 1: up to $20,000

Stage 2 (by invitation only): up to $2.5 million

4 to 7 years Ph.D. candidates are eligible to apply if they have met all requirements for the Ph.D. before the grant is awarded, including all course work and establish a formal affiliation with the host institution within five months of the grant start date, and maintain such an affiliation for the duration of the grant period. Applicants must complete the application form in accordance with the accompanying instructions. Only those applicants who are successful in Stage 1 will be invited to apply for Stage 2.
