Is the TOEFL no longer accepted in Australia?

With effect from July 26, 2023, until further notice, the Australian Department of Home Affairs will no longer accept TOEFL iBT scores. However, the results of the TOEFL test will still be valid for people who took it before July 25 to obtain an Australian visa.

 The TOEFL examination includes three types: TOEFL CBT (Computer-Based Test), TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based Test), and TOEFL PBT (Paper-Based Test). Notably, TOEFL iBT is the most preferred option. The Educational Test Service (ETS) has recently updated the TOEFL iBT test pattern, introduced on July 25, reducing the test duration to less than 2 hours.
