  1. Knowledge can help us to solve problems in our life. It could develop one’s reasoning skills and problem-solving abilities. A widely known phrase, “Knowledge is Power” was uttered by the philosopher Francis Bacon. Encoding is the initial process of learning where you receive information or knowledge. The key skill you need for encoding is attention. One can receive the proper information or knowledge if they’re being highly attentive. Storage also needs to be taken care of by revisiting the information, intermittently. Retrieval is the essential part of learning where you start to apply knowledge in everyday life. 
  4. There is a popular phrase surrounding this world, “Competitive World”. In order to survive in this competitive world, one needs to be good at their career. It means they should have the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their career. But, also, we need to acquire some advanced knowledge and skills in order to advance our careers. Managing Cholesterol

  1. Cholesterol is a fat-like substance found in all cells of the body. Cholesterol is needed for the body to make hormones, vitamin D, and substances that help one to digest the foods. If one has excess cholesterol in the body, it combines with  other substances in the blood, which in turn, forms the plaque. Plaque will stick to the walls of the arteries. This can lead to coronary heart disease. Low-density lipoprotein, high-density lipoprotein and very-low-density lipoprotein are some of the main types of cholesterol.
  2. Generally, an unhealthy lifestyle leads to high cholesterol. Eating bad fats can heighten your LDL cholesterol. Bad fats include saturated fat, is found in meats, dairy products, chocolate etc., and trans fat which you can find in fried and processed foods. Physical activity can help to regulate cholesterol levels. It means lack of physical activity can also contribute to high cholesterol. High Cholesterol could also be a genetic problem.
  3. Eating Healthy foods and avoiding unhealthy foods can reduce and manage cholesterol. Saturated foods mostly found in meat and dairy products. It can raise your cholesterol level. Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol can be reduced by reducing the consumption of saturated fats. Trans fats can be found in crackers, fried and processed foods. It also raises your level of cholesterol. Hence, it should be consumed less. Salmon, mackerel, and walnuts are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids; it could lower one’s blood pressure. Absorption of cholesterol in the bloodstream can be reduced by intaking soluble fibers. It can be found in oatmeals, kidney beans, and Brussels sprouts.
  4. Excess weight contributes to high cholesterol. Keeping track of one’s calories can help one be aware of how much to eat. Incorporating some form of activity in one’s life such as riding a bicycle or taking steps instead of using life can really help one to reduce weight. These may seem simple but it really adds up and brings some effective results. 
  5. Lack of exercise is found to be one of the causes of high cholesterol. Aerobic exercise is the best exercise to reduce cholesterol. There are different forms of exercises to reduce cholesterol and to keep the body healthy. One needs to choose a form of exercise that is suitable to their life and should follow that regularly. Even simple exercises can be useful if it is regularly followed. Cycling, Jogging, Swimming and Yoga are good exercises to start. Density and Crowding

  1. There are three significant trends that stand apart from the problems that man and the world are facing today. Unprecedented population growth and its consequences; Increasing urbanization leads to lots of people rushing into cities and urban areas of the world; Explosion of communication and social contact makes everyone aware of every part of the world. These trends are producing increased crowding and the perception of crowding.
  2. It is important to distinguish between density and crowding. Density is defined as the number of individuals per unit area. It is found to be a simple physical measurement. Crowding is the combination of density, communication, contact, and activity. It implicitly expresses pressure, a force, and a psychological reaction. It can occur at widely different densities. Crowding is more of a psychological and ecological phenomenon than a physical condition. 
  3. Calhoun (1962) did a classic crowding study, in which he put the rats into a physical environment and provided them with enough food, water, and other things for the number of rats in the environment. Gradually, the rat population peaked at 80. Rats didn’t experience a lack of resources but space restrictions which leads to several negative effects such as two dominant males occupying more space, a female stopping building nests and abandoning the infants, physical attacks are happened also sexual variation occurring, including hypersexuality, homosexuality, and bisexuality. 
  4. Followed by Calhoun’s results, other research has been conducted on crowding effects on human beings. It is found that high density not only counts as a cause of negative effects on humans. The effects of crowding are variable if it is defined as a high density. But, if crowding is defined in terms of social density, then crowding predicts psychological and physical effects. 
  5. There are some reasons why crowding makes us feel uncomfortable. One of the reasons is stimulus overload which means there are numerous stimuli competing for our attention. It is difficult to respond to them, even to notice it. Another nagging thing is a lack of privacy - unable to pay attention to one’s life without an interruption from others.
