Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL)
• As of April 9th, international students applying to a program of study at Saskatchewan Polytechnic will be admitted via a two-step process. Step One - Offer Letter If the applicant meets entrance requirements and there are available seats in the program, they will be provided with an offer letter. The offer letter will specify the program information and request that the applicant pay a non-refundable tuition deposit of $5,000 within 30 days from the date the offer letter is issued. Payment of the tuition deposit will confirm their seat in the program to which they applied. Offer letters can be accessed via the mySaskPolytech student portal in the myElectronicLetters section. Please visit www.mysaskpolytech.ca to access the portal. If applicants do not pay the tuition deposit by the specified deadline, the offer of admission will be cancelled. For assistance accessing myElectronicLetters, please submit a ticket at techservices.saskpolytech.ca. Step Two - Acceptance Letter and Provincial Attestation Letter Applicants who receive an offer letter and pay their tuition deposit by the specified deadline will be provided with a letter of acceptance and a provincial attestation letter. Acceptance letters will be made available online through the mySaskPolytech student portal for free, as well as through MyCreds™, a national service platform used for issuing and accessing secure electronic documents, for a fee of $6. The provincial attestation letter will only be available online through MyCreds™. No fee is required to access and download the attestation letter. Applicants can find directions on creating a MyCreds™ account here: https://saskpolytech.ca/admissions/resources/mycreds.aspx *Applicants are required to submit both their acceptance letter and provincial attestation letter to Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC) when they apply for a study permit.
