The eligibility criteria for admissions at SAIT is relatively clearly defined and does not involve a lot of complications for all credentials of programs.

As for language proficiency requirements, SAIT accepts IELTS and PTE scores.

As far as IELTS scores are concerned, SAIT requires 6.5 bands overall, no less than 6.0 bands in IELTS for admission into its Post Graduate Diploma programs, and 6.0 bands overall, no less than 6.0 bands for admission into Diploma and Certificate programs.

As far as academics are concerned, applicants need to have a minimum 67% in Bachelor’s degree for admission in applied degree programs, and for admission into Diploma, candidates should have 60% overall in core subjects and minimum 50% in English & Math in 12th A minimum PTE score of 53, no communicative skill lower than 53 is required for admission in Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma and Bachelor’s programs.

Deferrals

• Applicants who wish to defer, should submit their request prior to the deadline using the VAS button for deposit transfers.
• Deferrals do not guarantee a seat to the applicant.
• Deferred applicants who get waitlisted will receive a communication from the International Centre’s Admission Team; we may recommend another program within the same intake.
• Applicants have to create a FreshDesk ticket. for deferal.   
• If the student is unable to defer in VAS, it means that they have already deferred in the past and they are no longer eligible to defer. These will need to cancel the current application and submit a new application and pay the required fees.
