The registration fee for the PTE Academic Test in India is Rs 17,000/-. If a candidate books the exam within 48 hours before the PTE test date, the individual should also pay a PTE Late Registration Fee as well.

You can also request a rescore after paying a PTE rescore charge. The PTE exam scoring is done by machines using AI algorithms. So, you do not expect any errors in your results as though it is human-scored tests. However, if your score is changed as a result of rescoring, then PTE will refund your rescoring fee. PTE Late Registration Fee

One of the advantageous factors in the PTE exam is candidates can book their seats 48 hours in advance. If the candidate secures a seat within 48 hours in advance, then they have to pay ₹695, in addition to the PTE registration fee.  The table below accurately depicts the changes in the registration fee if you book the exam late.

PTE Cancellation Fee 

You can submit a cancellation request through the official PTE website and claim a refund. Candidates can cancel their PTE test with a full refund by placing the cancellation request at least 14 full calendar days before the test date. If candidates cancel the test within 13 and 8 full calendar days before the test, they will get a 50% refund. And, they will not get any percentage of refunds if they cancel the test 7 full calendar days or less before their scheduled test date.

PTE Rescheduling Fee 

Candidates can reschedule their PTE test without any charges if there are at least 14 full calendar days remaining before their test date. However, if candidates opt to reschedule their test between 8 and 13 full calendar days prior to the original test date, they will be required to pay 50% of the original test fee. If candidates reschedule their test 7 full calendar days or less before their original test date, they will need to pay the full test fee again, and no refund will be provided.

PTE Score Review - Charges

Applicants can request to review the PTE score through the PTE official website if they are not satisfied with their score. Candidates need to pay USD 50 as a fee for the score review service. If the reviewed score indicates that the original PTE score was accurate, then they will be informed and their test fee will not be refunded. If the score review proves their claim was correct, then the candidate will receive a credit voucher which can be used for booking another test or they will get the full refund. 

PTE Rescoring Fee

If the candidates are unhappy with their PTE score, they can request rescoring. Candidates' spoken responses and open-ended written responses will be rescored. In rescoring, if any score change occurs, either in overall or communicative PTE scores, their rescoring fee will be refunded. If the score changes, they will get a PTE score report with a replacement of the new score with the previous score. Applicants can contact the Customer Support Team within 14 calendar days after they receive their score. The Customer Support Team will let them know about the rescoring fee.
