It is worth up to £18,000 (INR 17.8 lakh), which covers tuition fees, visa costs, living and travel expenses. The Chevening scholarship application will open in August 2023.

  • Must be a citizen of Chevening eligible country or territory.
  • Completed undergraduate program and had two years of work experience.

2. Felix Scholarships

The Felix Scholarship introduced for gifted underprivileged students from India and other students from developing countries who want to pursue their postgraduate education in the UK. Felix scholarships are only available for three universities - University of Oxford, University of Reading, and the School of Oriental and African Studies (University of London). 428 scholarships have been given since the scheme began.

  • An Indian national must at least hold a first class bachelor’s degree from a recognized Indian University.
  • A national who is not from India or from an EEA Country, must at least hold a first class bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and be recommended by their preferred university.

3. A.S Hornby Educational Trust Scholarships

The Hornby Scholarship Program founded in 1961, to honour A.S Hornby, the creator of the Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary. This trust provides scholarships for the English Language Teaching (ELT) Professionals from developing countries who want to pursue MA studies in the UK. It covers almost all the student expenses such as tuition fees, living expenses, return air ticket cost, and visa. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must have a full university degree and three years of full time English Teaching experience. 
  • Requires the level of English language proficiency designated by the university.

4. Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Scholarship

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters is designed by International partnerships for higher education institutions (HEI). It can be applied by the students from all over the world who are at master’s level.  5. Rhodes Scholarships

The Rhodes scholarship is an oldest international scholarship programme, first awarded in 1902. It helps the talented young people from all around the world to study at the University of Oxford by providing a fully-funded, full time, post graduate award. This scholarship covers the Oxford University course fees and provides an annual stipend. Scholars, during the academic year 22/23, got the stipend of £18,180 per annum (£1,515 per month).

6. Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarships (CWIT)

The Charles Wallace India Trust was established in 1981, which helps Indian students to spend their time in the UK to study or work in the arts/humanities. This scholarship (CWIT) grants accommodation and living expenses in the UK and contributes the amount of £700 for international travel costs.

  • First degree, diploma, or professional qualification in their specialization.

7. Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship

It was established in 1959, and over 3000 students benefited from this scholarship. It grants tuition fees, airline fares, and other allowances.

8. Dr. Manmohan Singh Scholarships
