Answer questions 1- 5 which are based on the reading passage below.

Business advice to newbie entrepreneurs

Set a marketing approach. Undifferentiated marketing succeeds when the same component of the product appeals to a large number of people. When advertising to different markets, on the other hand, a differentiated approach highlights various characteristics of the product. When only one part of the market is being targeted, rather than a number of various segments, a concentrated plan should be adopted.

Experiment with various methods to advertise your goods. For example, within the same market base, test a range of advertising initiatives. Make sure that each campaign emphasises your product's special selling point and appeals to the feelings of the people to whom you're marketing it. Consider running a similar campaign in many markets, you might find that one of them likes your product for a cause you hadn't thought of. Alternatively, consider putting your goods in a variety of stores that cater to various demographics. Then consider each campaign's success and take action based on client feedback from salespeople or follow-up surveys.

Seeding the market entails presenting potential buyers' product samples and demonstrating why they require (or desire) them. Try to get your product into the hands of industry leaders or businesses that may need many items. Request that professionals test your product and provide feedback. Make your testimonials visible by including them on your website and in your brochures, especially those from experts and industry leaders. This will improve your reliability. Distribute press releases to the media to inform the arrival of your product, as well as any unexpected and good findings of the experts who examined it.

Begin your chosen promotion technique, focusing on the markets you think would react best to your goods. To boost local interest and attention, hold a product launch or grand opening event. Advertise in magazines that your target market reads, as well as on local radio and television stations and newspapers. Evaluate the success of your product on a regular basis. Take note of any longer-term changes in the market base or client expectations, and then reposition the product as relevant. Procter & Gamble, for example, repositioned its diapers by highlighting the type of sizes available. They started encouraging them as Pampers Phases, which were aimed at various age groups of infants and toddlers.

Answer questions 1- 7 which are based on the reading passage below.

Treatment for a common cold

The average individual has three colds every year, each of which stays around nine days. Although there is no treatment, the following tips may be useful. Take some time off work because your body will be better capable of fighting the cold virus if you are well-rested. If you must go to work, keep your distance from your coworkers because the illness is contagious. Hands should be cleaned often or disinfected with an alcohol-based gel. Non-sedating allergy drugs, which may be purchased at a pharmacy, can help with tiredness as well as runny noses, watery eyes, and blocked sinuses.

Increase your hydration intake as soon as you start to feel a cold coming on. Water or juice is best, but hot herbal teas with lemon will thin mucus and help it to leave the body. A warm salt water gargle will soothe a rough throat by reducing inflammation and clearing mucus and irritants from the throat. It can also be used as a prophylactic strategy because it flushes away bacteria and viruses.

Nasal passageways will be soothed and removed by the warm moisture produced by a hot shower or bath. Congested sinuses can also be relieved by inhaling steam from a bowl of hot water. Honey, straight from the jar or incorporated in a hot beverage, appears to work as well as, if not better than, costly lozenges and sprays for a tickly cough, according to a new study.

Beginning the day with a nutritious meal that contains vitamin C in the form of fresh fruit or berries is vital for a swift recovery. Chicken soup is an excellent lunch option, but make sure to have pieces of thin chicken meat, as protein helps in the growth of immune cells. Not only is this the perfect comfort food, but it has also been shown to have medical properties. A spicy curry for dinner is a wonderful decongestant, and some of the ingredients (ginger, garlic, and chilli) are antiviral and antibacterial.

A small part of the mild activity is perfect for your mental well-being, but avoid anything too severe. Finally, a complete eight hours of sleep is needed to refill your body and regain your energy.

Answer questions 1- 5 which are based on the reading passage below.

Consumer advice on buying shoes

Replace the shoes to the shop with your receipt as evidence of purchase. You have the right to a refund if you return damaged shoes right away. You're also likely to get one if you modify your mind about the shoes and replace them right away. However, if you wait too long or if you've worn the shoes, the shop may not refund your total purchase price. It depends on the condition of the shoes and the length of time you've owned them.

You are not obligated to take a credit note if one is offered to you. Getting it usually means you won't be able to swap it for cash later. If you can't find any other shoes you want in the store, you may be stuck with an unwelcome credit note.

The store may wish to return the shoes to headquarters for review. This is reasonable and may help in the solution of issues. However, don't be turned off by the shop's allegation that the manufacturer is to blame. This is not the case. It is the shop's legal responsibility to fix the problem. You can receive assistance if you don't seem to be getting anywhere. A Citizens Guidance Bureau (find the address in your phone book) or a local Trading Standards Department can provide free advice. Again, look up County, Regional, or Borough Council in the phone book. All of these divisions have personnel who can advise you on flawed products and how to handle them.

The Footwear Code of Practice applies to the majority of stores. You can request that the shoes be sent to the Footwear Testing Centre for an independent thought if the business you're dealing with is covered. Whatever the result of the report is, the shop must agree with it. A fee of £21 is required. The merchant pays the rest when you pay £7. (including postage).

You can take your matter to court as a final resort. This isn't nearly as difficult as it seems. The small claims procedure is a low-cost, easy, and informal way of pursuing legal action for amounts up to £ 1000 (£750 in Scotland). The required paperwork can be obtained from your local County Court or, in Scotland, the Sheriff Court. The Citizens Advice Bureau can provide you with information and flyers. Some bookstores also provide advice kits that have the essential forms.

A. the way you speak
B. the packing of the box

A. buy for the mentioned price
B. find any other shoes you want in the store

4. The Footwear Code of Practice applies
