Dear Sir, or Madam,

Thank you so much for your offer for the post of Senior designer at ABC Designs. Am really privileged by the opportunity. As per our discussion, I was supposed to join the company by next week. However, am writing this mail to inform you that I will not be joining the pre-agreed date. I exhibit my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by this.

I would like to inform you about the situation that has led to the delay in my joining date. Unfortunately, last week while I was traveling back to my home I got into a minor accident and got my hands fractured. Doctors have insisted on taking a three-week rest until my hands are set. Thus It is practically difficult for me to attend the office at the appropriate time.

I expect you can understand my dire situation. If it is possible, I will try to join the company as soon as possible by the following week. I hope you can understand my situation and provide me a week's time of postponement for my joining date. This would help me to put my 100% concentration on the work.

Looking forward from you,

With due respect,

However, when I saw the images, I was not able to control myself from writing to you as the memories brought back were so refreshing.

Next month, I am planning to host a party for my parent's wedding day. Thus I invite you to join the party and wish my parents good luck on their special day.

Hoping to meet you soon.

Best,
Seema.
