You live in a room in college which you share with another student - Sample letter 1
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to discuss my housing difficulties due to my roommate's crazy behaviour, which has a terrible impact on my academic performance. I am unable to concentrate on my academics, and living with such a roommate is intolerable.
I have spent the past year living in a hostel with communal accommodations. My prior roommate was incredibly cooperative, cordial, and helpful with my studies. However, the student with whom I've been living for the past few months is the polar opposite of my prior roommate.
He refuses to work things out with me and does not clean the place. They smoke in the room despite his regular guests. To make matters worse, my roommate recently purchased a television and enjoys watching it constantly at a loud volume and playing games all night. Despite my polite requests, he refuses to cooperate, making it extremely difficult for me to study with him as a roommate.
I prefer anything calm. Due to my academic obligations, I request a room change for either myself or my roommate. If a single room cannot be arranged, I would like any tranquil space, as it would allow me to concentrate more on my studies.
Thank you so much for your consideration.
Yours faithfully,
Prince Rajput

You live in a room in college which you share with another student - Sample letter 2
Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Rajput Prince. I am a freshman majoring in computer engineering residing in A-Block room 104. I am writing to convey my frustration with my obnoxious roommate, who is also a student.
Everyone with whom I have shared a residence has been accommodating and cooperative. Despite this, my roommate is quite despicable. He plays loud games throughout the day and litters the house. In addition, he bothers me while I am studying by playing loud music, which disrupts my study time and even affects my grade. In addition, he allows his senior friends to enter, and they stay in the room for nearly the entire day, which violates my privacy. My roommate also leaves the door open during my departure, so I cannot guarantee the security of my possessions.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could assign me a new room for my stay. I would want a single room without roommates so that I can concentrate on my studies without interruption.
Please take my circumstances into account and make the required arrangements as soon as possible.
Yours faithfully,
Prince Rajput

You live in a room in college which you share with another student - Sample letter 3
Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Rajput Prince. My room number at the Sheridan Hostel is 4. This letter is to inform you that I am currently experiencing an unpleasant and unsettling circumstance with my current roommate at the university dormitory.
Since I've been living with my current roommate for two months, adjusting to him has been quite challenging. Please do not believe that I am whining about him; he has a unique lifestyle and study routine. For instance, he likes to study late at night with the lights on, making it impossible for me to fall asleep. As a result, most evenings, I do not receive enough sleep to begin the day with a clear head.
Moreover, he does not assist in cleaning the room and frequently leaves trash behind. In light of these concerns, I would greatly appreciate it if you could arrange a single room for me so that my studies won't be affected.
I hope to hear from you shortly.
Yours Sincerely,
Prince Rajput
