Hypnosis

Hypnosis treats an individual by reprogramming an individual’s subconscious mind. During the hypnosis session, an individual subconscious mind awakens while the conscious mind will be subdued. Psychologists believe that the subconscious mind is the root of an individual which determines their individual thoughts and feelings. That’s why psychologists try to reprogram the subconscious mind of an individual.

There are two methods of hypnotic therapy: Patient analysis and Suggestion Therapy. In patient analysis, hypnosis is used to pinpoint the underlying cause of the psychological disorders. Psychotherapy further treats an individual. In Suggestion Therapy, hypnosis used to change the particular individual's specific behaviour by giving suggestions. Suggestion therapy, most often used in pain management.

Subjects of hypnosis experience deep physical relaxation. They also experience the change in their sense, hyperaesthesia occurs. In hyperaesthesia, an individual is able to notice even tiny changes in temperature, their sense will become super acute. Analgesia will also occur, which means relief occurs in a localised area of pain.
