Introduction
Each and every one of us may benefit from regular participation in sports and physical activities. Not only do they help you maintain a healthy body and mind, but they also provide an opportunity to make a name for yourself in the public eye. We all have our favourite players and sports figures from a variety of sports that we root for.

Who the person is?
I'm also a fan of a certain athlete whom I hold in the highest esteem. Mr. Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is an ex-cricketer for the Indian team who gained widespread fame and respect throughout his playing career. He has a place in history as one of the best batsmen of all time and is widely regarded as a living legend. As far as we know, he is the first player to ever reach a century in an international match.

What sport does he or she play?
He began playing international cricket at the tender age of 16, earning him the nickname "the little maestro." Unknown to most, he scored a century in his maiden test match against Pakistan. From then on, he didn't slow down and set a whole slew of records. Since then, he's won a slew of honours and plaudits for his excellent performance and exemplary character off the field, too. Moreover, he has been honoured with the Arjuna Award, the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, the Padma Shri, and the Padma Vibhushan.

When did you first hear about this person?
One day I was casually surfing through social media to learn tactics and came to know about him. I got very inspired by his skills and hard work and so I trained myself by watching him play.

Why do you admire him or her?
He is a straightforward, unpretentious guy who is also kind and forthright. He is well-versed in all three types of cricket games (tests, one-dayers, and twenty-over).  His passion for the game and his game strategies made not just me but the whole world follow him.

Conclusion
His perseverance, loyalty, and will to grow as a person are qualities I respect much. I have great admiration for his commitment to fair play and sportsmanship on and off the field.

• The only sport that even remotely fascinates me is football, which I also sometimes play.
•  So it seems to reason that a football player would be my favourite athlete.

Who the person is?

• In the eyes of football experts, he is in league with the great Maradona. 
• I'm referring to Lionel Messi, by the way. He's been in the spotlight for a long time and hasn't lost any of his appeals.

What sport he or she does?

• Messi was born in a modest Argentine village. 
• He began playing football when he was just five years old. 
• Barcelona talent scouts took notice of him while he was a youngster, and he eventually settled there. In doing so, he joined Barcelona's roster as one of the youngest players at that time.

When did you first hear about this person?

• One of my friends told me about him, when he played furiously and strongly against the opposite team. 
• That match made him very popular around the world. Since then, I haven’t missed even one match of his.

Why do you admire him or her?

• In 2014, he was named the best player of the World Cup and was awarded the Golden Ball. His club, Barcelona, ended up winning both the European Champions League and the World Club Championship, thanks to his contributions. 
• He also holds the record for the most goals scored for Argentina. Despite the fact that his opponents and their defences are well aware of this move, he keeps on doing it.

Well, I have known a succession of famous sportsmen and sportspeople who have made history and set records. Michael Jordan is another amazing athlete, and I would like to say a few words about him today.

Who the person is?
Michael Jordan is the best basketball player of all time and an "American icon." Michael Jordan, who began his NBA (National Basketball Association – USA) career in 1984 as a 15-year-old rookie, became an unstoppable scoring machine, multiple-time NBA league champion, and marketing icon who inspired millions of children to "be like Mike."

What sport he or she does?
Michael Jordan hasn't played an NBA game in 15 years, yet he still has an unparalleled aura in the eyes of players and spectators. In addition, he is a generational trendsetter whose effect on sneaker culture, basketball, and contemporary advertising extends well beyond the NBA. Now, if these facts and information do not adequately convey how well-known he is, then these will: According to a 1996 research, Michael Jordan was once one of the three most renowned individuals in the world, alongside Princess Diana and the Vatican Pope.

When did you first hear about this person?
To be honest, it wasn't until I entered college that I learned how much of a legend this athlete really was. That's when I first developed an appreciation for basketball and all the lore and history around such an intensely physical activity. TV interviews and sports magazines were also very informative sources of information about him for me.

Why you admire him or her?
He inspired me in a lot of ways, his dedication, passion, hard work, and enthusiasm made lots of changes in my life. I used to watch him play every day and tried to keep up with his moves. And his tactics always helped me with the match.
