Describe a time you saw children behave badly in public Model answer 1
Introduction
Children are considered pure and innocent creatures with no logical thinking and common sense at that age, where some kind of activities and behaviour of them are considered to be bad. Recently, I came across such an incident where my 7-year-old nephew and his friends misbehaved at his birthday party.
Where it was?
I went to my uncle’s house in Karol bagh locality situated in Delhi to celebrate my nephew’s birthday. I arrived a day before the party to help my aunty with preparations and decorations. They had invited all the classmates and friends of my nephew and the neighbours for the birthday celebration.
What the children were doing?
Most of the children who attended the party were calm and behaved very well. But all of a sudden a quarrel started between my nephew and his friends over the possession of a pastry and were uncontrollably arguing and throwing hands at each other ruining the arrangements and house properties.
How others reacted to it?
Everyone around was trying to disperse the children and make them stop the dispute. However, the toddlers were inconsiderate and were ignoring their parent's commands and spoke rudely to them in return. Eventually, after some time their parents were ashamed of them and even stopped taking care of them.
And explain how you feel about it.
They did not realize the consequences of their behaviour, but it spoiled the whole evening, and the parent's heads were down due to their failure in parenting and keeping their child in line. I tried to calm the situation and solve the children's issue over a cake.
Conclusion
On the contrary, toddlers recognise their mistakes and ask for apologise from everyone for their disrespectful behaviour and the damage they have caused.

Where it was?

- Last month, my cousin was married.
- Due to my hectic schedule, I could only attend one event, which was a wedding reception.
- We all reunited after a lengthy separation.
- For us, it was a family reunion.
- The entire gathering included a significant number of teenagers.
What the children were doing?
- To make the event more memorable, we all agreed to take a family photo at 8 p.m.
- When we attempted to assemble all the family members, we discovered that the majority of the children had not reached the designated photo-taking site.
- They were playing digital games on their respective devices when I discovered them. A few of them began to yell and refused to join us for the family photograph when I asked them to stop playing games and join the party.
How others reacted to it?
- A few minutes later, other family members joined me, and the children's behaviour upset them.
- Instead of reprimanding the children and ruining the party, we handled the situation with composure.
- We gathered all the children in one area, and a senior member of our family helped them recognise their egregious mistakes.
- The children immediately realised their mistake and apologised to everyone..
And explain how you feel about it.

Describe a time you saw children behave badly in public Model answer 3
Introduction
Children in their early years are typically misbehaved because, at such a young age, they do not comprehend the consequences of inappropriate behaviour. To prevent such situations, it is the obligation of parents and elders to correct such behaviour in children.
Where it was? And What the children were doing?
I take a daily leisurely walk in a park close to my home. During this time, I typically observe a few children playing in the park. Moreover, they are constantly accompanied by an adult. Last week, when I visited the park, I observed children uprooting the flowers and plants rather than playing. I attempted to locate a nearby adult who knew the children. There were a few others out walking with me, but I did not believe anyone knew the children.
How others reacted to it?
However, an elderly uncle could no longer watch this. He approached the children and instructed them to immediately cease their behaviour. However, instead of reprimanding them, he began demonstrating how plants are living organisms like us and that uprooting them is equivalent to killing them. He then attempted to salvage the situation by requesting the children's assistance in replanting the trees. Upon observing this, others and I also joined in and assisted him.
And explain how you feel about it.
I was initially very angry, but I also recognised that the children did not comprehend the repercussions of their actions. After hearing the uncle's speech, they stopped and assisted in replanting the plants. Nevertheless, some of the plants had broken roots, and we knew there was nothing we could do to save them. We avoided saying anything to the children because we didn't want them to feel even more guilty.
Conclusion
Last but not least, he apologised on behalf of the children and expressed regret for abandoning them. Instead of scolding children for their mistakes, it is our responsibility as a society to guide them and help them develop into better people.
IELTS speaking part 3 - Describe a time you saw children behave badly in public follow-up questions
Based on “Describe a time you saw children behave badly in public,” cue card follow-up questions are given below. In the actual exam, this session is conducted for about 4-5 minutes in which you have to discuss questions about a general topic or question on your cue card.
1.What bad behaviour do children usually have?
Usually, children perform bad behaviour such as making irritable noises, creating a mess around everywhere, doing tantrums, disrespecting elders, and stealing toys and stuff they like.
2.How should parents stop their children from behaving badly in public?
Irrefutably, parents should guide their children to behave well both in public and in private. They should try to instil good virtues and morals to make their child knowledgeable enough to differentiate between good and bad behaviour. Guardians must make their children more understanding and teach them with love and care.
3.Are parents these days stricter than in the past?
In contrast, I believe that today's parents are more lenient. I believe it is primarily due to two factors: strict laws prohibiting physical abuse and the influence of western culture.
4.Whose influence on children is more? Parents or their Friends?
I believe that during the early years, when parents spend a considerable amount of time with their children, their influence is excessive. However, as children mature, they spend an increasing amount of time with their friends. And during this time, I believe their classmates have a greater impact on their behaviour and thought processes.
