Describe an expensive activity that you enjoy doing occasionally Model Answer 1
Introduction And What is it?
Generally, I do not spend a lot of money on myself, although I do occasionally indulge in a few activities. One of these activities is clubbing. It is one of these group activities that I look forward to and like doing.
Who do you do it with?
This is the reason why I go out with my group of friends. Collectively, we determine which clubs will be enjoyable and have a fantastic atmosphere. In addition to this, we seek out clubs that have tasty food and mocktails.
Why is it expensive?
Now, the reason I mentioned clubbing as a costly pastime is due to the fact that there are fees for absolutely everything. The cover charges for nightclubs might range between 1,000 and 2,000. The cost of food and beverages could range from 1,000 to 2,000, and don't forget about the parking fees. Therefore, you should bring approximately 5,000 if you intend to go partying.
And explain how you feel about it. And Conclusion
Even if clubbing is an activity that involves additional expenditures, it allows me to de-stress and unwind after a long, stressful day. As soon as I enter the club, I forget all my troubles. I believe that everyone should occasionally engage in an activity that makes them feel emancipated.
Describe an expensive activity that you enjoy doing occasionally Model answer 2
Introduction
- Going to an amusement park to play arcade games is a pastime that I occasionally like, despite my judgement that it is slightly too pricey.
What is it? And Who do you do with?
- Actually, I have a group of friends who enjoy playing arcade games, and we go to a gaming parlour once a month.
- In fact, there is a gaming centre called Adventure Zone in a shopping mall in my city, where all forms of games are offered, including video games, slot machines, billiards, and bowling.
Why is it expensive?
- It is quite an expensive place to visit.
- To access the gaming zone, one must purchase a card with 1000 rupees of credit, then swipe the card and pay according to the games chosen.
- We all enjoy bowling and engaging in some form of competitiveness there.
- In fact, it is the most expensive game in this establishment.
- In addition, we play video games and billiards, my favourite game.
- We typically visit this location during the first week of every month, when we receive our pocket money, and we spend the majority of it here.
And explain how you feel about it.
- We appreciate the loud music, buzz, and dancing laser beams tremendously.
- Typically, after hours of playing here, we become hungry and exhausted.
- So we go to our favourite restaurant in this mall and eat until we are stuffed.
Conclusion
Thus, we spend a considerable amount on this pastime, which is rather costly for me.
However, it is always worth it because it allows me to relax psychologically and have fun with my friends.
Describe an expensive activity that you enjoy doing occasionally Model answer 3
Introduction
It would not be wrong to say that it’s the adventure, which attracts us towards the activity and not the price. Our financial situation may or may not allow us to appreciate it, but we all desire to do so nonetheless.
What is it?
I would like to share one such pastime that I enjoy engaging in irregularly: shooting. In fact, our city has an Olympic-sized shooting range with all types of shooting facilities, including 50m, 25m, and 10m rifle and pistol shooting, as well as trap and skeet for shotguns.
Who do you do it with?
My father influenced my interest in this sport. Observing my father's shooting during my childhood inspired me to take up the sport. Now that I am an adult and eligible to play this sport, it is the ideal weekend pastime for me. My father and I enjoy spending time together at the shooting academy, where we frequently go shooting. We both enjoy the sound of the bullet piercing the air and the competitive nature of the other shooters at the range.
Why is it expensive?
I would say that it is an expensive sport to play due to the expensive instruments and equipment required. One receives a limited number of rounds to shoot at the range, and the cost of reloading is considerable. In fact, it is one of the most costly sports in my city.
And explain how you feel about it. And Conclusion
Shooting is the ideal activity for learning to maintain composure. It helps maintain mental focus. In this chaotic environment, I believe one must achieve mental calm. This exercise, which I am drawn to, not only leaves me feeling refreshed, but also revitalises my entire body. It is an expensive pastime that is well worth the cost.
Describe an expensive activity that you enjoy doing occasionally Model answer 4
Introduction
Certain hobbies are prohibitively pricey.
However, some are inexpensive.
Streaming movies, wild photography, and music listening are my primary pastimes.
Thus, the majority of my pastimes are actually fairly inexpensive.
What is it?
Occasionally, however, I photograph explorers and wild places.
Who do you do it with?
I frequently visit with my friends and cousins.
Why is it expensive?
Due to their distance from my residence, travelling to these locations is expensive.
First, travel expenses total approximately Rs 5,000.
In addition, I must maintain my camera and its lens, which is an extremely costly endeavour.
I began photographing during my school years.
My friends are also photography enthusiasts.
During that year's summer break, two of my friends and I travelled to Gir to photograph wildlife.
And explain how you feel about it.
I enjoy wildlife photography for a variety of reasons.
I believe the most essential reason is that I am a nature lover and that photographing animals is a wonderful experience.
When I capture the unseen moments of many creatures, I feel so alive.
The opportunity to spend time with friends is an additional reason why I enjoy photography.
The entire event lasts approximately two days and one night.
During this time, we converse, play games, tease one other, and share delicious meals.
Because we are having so much fun, time passes extremely fast.
Conclusion
Therefore, I believe we have made it an annual custom for which we anxiously wait.
Thus, this is a somewhat costly pastime that should be incorporated into everyone's life because it brings me and my friends joy.
