  • TAT 4 to 6 Weeks
  • To confirm your acceptance at Vanier College, you have to create an account and MUST PAY the Confirmation Fee amount of $150 CAD BY THE DEADLINE INDICATED IN YOUR LETTER OF ADMISSION.
  • Also attach the required following documents

Admissions Criteria: Computerized Financial Management (ACS) & Software Development (ACS)

  • Completed at least one year of post-secondary studies (applicants must send clear and readable copies of their academic results of the last three years of secondary school, all post-secondary studies, and any other diplomas or certificates)*
  • Submit a valid Birth Certificate showing the student’s full name, date and place of birth as well as the parents’ names (translated into English or French by a certified translator)*
  • Low number of academic backlogs, meaning few previous academic failures on the student record
  • Provide proof of English proficiency
  • Letter of intent indicating their interest in the program and in what way this will add to their future career prospects (1 page maximum)
  • Complete the online SRAM Application Form
  • Pay the $80 application fee to SRAM

Admissions Criteria for Early Childhood Education (ACS): 

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Completed secondary studies (applicants must send clear and readable copies of their academic results of the last three years of secondary school)*
  • Submit a valid Birth Certificate showing the student’s full name, date and place of birth as well as the parents’ names (translated into English or French by a certified translator)*
  • Provide proof of English proficiency
  • Letter of intent indicating their interest in the program and in what way this will add to their future career prospects (1-page maximum)
  • Submit a current résumé
  • Complete the online SRAM Application Form
  • Pay the $80 application fee to SRAM
  • A mandatory background check is required shortly after program start.

Note that the requirements listed above are considered minimum requirements and do not guarantee admission into a program.  Once accepted in a program, students must apply for a CAQ (certificate d’acceptation du Quebec), a Study Permit and health insurance in order to finalize their application and acceptance.

New French Requirements

  • You may have heard about the new French requirements for students graduating from colleges in Quebec.  As a condition of graduation, all students must now pass the TEF or TEFAQ (French evaluation test) to a A1 level of written French and approx. B2 level of oral communication French by the end of their program. This is NOT currently an admission requirement.  The language of instruction at Vanier College remains English.
  • Students in our programs will be supported by taking three French classes included in their programs in which students are automatically enrolled. Part-time classes are also offered to students through the Vanier Language School.  There are also free French programs offered to students by the Quebec government. By participating in these French options, students not only have the chance to obtain a Canadian diploma, but to become bi-lingual.  For students interested in learning French, consider Vanier College as an great option.

Deferral Fee Policy (to defer to following semester): $100 CAD

  • All international students admitted by the college can apply for one deferral, which will be for the following semester
  • In extenuating circumstances, more than one deferral may be accepted
  • Deferral fee must be paid by the tuition fee payment deadline (as specified in the Letter of Acceptance)
  • Registrar will issue a new letter of acceptance.
