Introduction:
Bus or train station is a structure where a city or intercity bus or train stops to pick up and drop off passengers. Here I am going to share about my city bus station.
Where is it?
In my city there are both train and bus stations, but here I am going to talk about the bus station which is located in the center of the city with frequent bus facilities. Also this bus station is one of the oldest bus stations in chennai. This bus station covers about 1.5 acres.
What types of transportation are available there?
Mostly roadway transportation vehicles like Government buses, private buses, cabs, Auto rickshaws are available to the passengers. Usually public buses and private buses are frequently there.
How can you go there?
As I mentioned above, it is located in the middle of the city. Also it is located 2 km away from where I live. So i use my own vehicles like motorbike or bicycle to reach that bus station.
Explain why people use this bus or train station.
It is the main bus stop for some villages and areas around the city. Also people from other districts who are all coming here will use this stop to catch their transport, or people from this city who need to go to some other city or districts will go to this bus stop.
Conclusion:
Still there are many villages, which don't have bus stops or frequent bus facilities. In my view, public buses are common to every citizen, so the government should take some steps to provide these facilities to villages which don’t have bus facilities.

Introduction:
- A train station, railway station, railroad station, or railway depot is a railway facility.Where trains stop to load or unload passengers, freight, or both.
- It generally consists of at least one platform, one track.Here I am going to share about the railway station in my city.
Where is it?
- Chennai central, officially known as Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G. Ramachandrn Central Railway station.
- It is the main railway terminus in the city of chennai, Tamil Nadu India. Also it is the busiest railway station in South India.
- The terminus connects the city to northern India, including Kolkata, Mumbai, and New Delhi, and all the various parts of India.
What types of transportation are available there?
- It has separate bus lanes near the main entrance, close to the concourse. There are prepaid auto and taxi stands at the station premises.
- Also in the central railway station there are separate lanes for local trains.
How can you go there?
- As I was living in the city beside the central railway station, it was much easier for me to go there.
- Mostly i use my own vehicle to go there and sometimes in the rare case i use train or bus to reach there.
Explain why people use this bus or train station?
- As I mentioned above, it is the main railway station in the city.
- People who like to travel to other states or to other districts people mostly prefer this mode of transportation to travel.
- Because this station connects many cities and areas.
Conclusion:
- Buses can be majorly limited in routes to any destinations. While trains operate everywhere, especially for very long travels, most people prefer to travel.

Introduction:
Bus station is a place which is constructed on certain acres. Where buses were stopped to drop or pick up people from or to other places. Here I am going to talk about the bus station which is located in my city.
Where is it?
Pandit Nehru Bus station(PNBS), also known as the Telugu Satavahana Prayana Pranganam, is a bus station in Vijayawada, located on the southern side of the main city and adjacent to the Krishna River. It is owned by the APSRTC. This bus station is spread over an area of 28 acres of land and it is one of the largest Bus stations in India.
What type of transportation are available there?
There are various modes of transportation available in Vijayawada. It includes auto rickshaws, bicycles and mass transit systems such as buses. This station operates buses to major destinations of the state and to neighboring states.
How can you go there?
It is a bit away from where I live. I will use my own vehicle to reach the bus station, or if I want to travel long I will use a private vehicle like taxi, auto or other mode of transport, because it helps me to carry my luggage.
Explain why people use this bus or train station.
This station has a departure terminal with 48 platforms and an aerial terminal with 14 platforms. So people feel comfortable while waiting. As it is the largest bus station of Andhra pradesh, it has a huge connection of buses.
Conclusion:
Bus stations are easier for people to change from one bus to another. It generally refers to a bus garage.
