Describe a game you played in your childhood - Model answer 1

Introductions:
Childhood is the period when we all enjoy our life without any stress. There are both indoor and outdoor games, but mostly I prefer indoor games to play with my friends. Outdoor games are risky to play, many injuries will occur while playing games like kabaddi, gilli dhandi, seven stones etc.

What the game was
It is an indoor  game named pallanguzhi or Ali guli mane, this game is played by 2 players, with wooden boards that have fourteen pits. Girls in rural areas mostly play this game. There are variations of the game depending on the shells each player starts with.

When you played it
I used to play this game when I was going to my grandparents house, it is a village which is near to madurai. During my childhood most of my vacations were spent in that village. I have lots of friends there who are still in contact with me . I used to play the game often in my childhood. I still play that game when I am free or when relatives visit my home, but nowadays pallankuzhi is not played by many people.

Who you play with
In my childhood I played with my grandmother,my father’s mother. We both will play the game often whenever I visit their house, but nowadays I play with my siblings and my mother, sometimes with my neighbours.

How you felt about the game.
It is an interesting game, it is an indoor game so injuries will not occur. We can play safely with our family members , friends and neighbours. Anyone can easily learn that game, it is not a boring game, it becomes more interesting as we continue to play.

 Conclusion:
Even though there are many games most girls like to play indoors, even married women and working womens are also like to play this game in their leisure time. It gives them some mind relaxation.

Introduction:
Every child liked to play, whatever the game they would try or to play it. Some of them like to play indoors and some will like outdoor. Even though there are many indoor games, many of them would like to play outdoor games. There are some outdoor games which are safe too.

What the game was
It is an outdoor game called kith kith or pandi attam, it is also named as nondi, pandi attam. It is a funny hopping game played by both boys and girls in rural villages. Even today they  were playing this game. They draw a rectangular outline on the ground and they toss a small object and hop or jump to the rectangle outline to retrieve the object.

When you play it .
When I was 6 I started to play this game with my friends. When I turned 10 I was shifted to another place . So, I stopped playing it for a few days. Again, whenever I go to my native place I would play this game. We used to play only in the evening.

Who you played with

I used to play this game at different places with my various friends , mostly with my cousins and neighbours. We are a gang of 12. So, it was fun to play this .There is a competition with us to win the game. Mostly me and my cousin Diya, won the game. Diya is close to me among all of my cousins,  we play together, we both are best friends.

How you felt about the game.
Even though it is an outdoor game it is more safe to play,  in rural areas even a boy who was under 10 was also playing this game. I loved to play pandi. It makes my childhood happier , even though it is a simple game, initially I felt it was difficult to learn it. My sister taught me how to play it.

conclusion:
It is a game which came into our mind  first when we were children, there are some games like nondi which do not cause injuries. Even nowadays in some urban areas some children are playing this game .

Describe a game you played in your childhood - Model answer 3

Introduction:
In my childhood I used to play some games such as hopscotch, snake and ladder. In my childhood I spent days in rural areas so I played lots of games, but now I am in urban areas so I missed those games and enjoyment. Childhood days are the best days which give more memorable days in our life, it is the place where all the children gather together to play.

What the game was
Though there are many games, now I am going to talk about the game which I used to play often in my childhood. Hide and seek is a popular game among children. Even two players can play this game with a set environment. The game is played by one chosen player counting numbers by closing their eyes, the chosen player has to find the hidden players one by one.

When you played it
Hide and seek is a game that we can play at any time. Even though I am living in an urban area we set our own boundaries to play this game. Most of the time I am the chosen player to find the hidden players. Every day we play the game once we finish our homeworks. On weekends we play at night time too.

 Who you played with
In my compound there are 8 children. We play this game together. We are not the same age, although we play together. Some of them were older and some were younger than me. Every time I spend my playing time with them only. They made some days more memorable days in my life,

How you felt about the game
It is a more interesting game, more than that it is more thrilling to play at night time. Sometimes it causes fear to find the hidden person who is hiding in a dark place, and sometimes it is easy to find with some clue. A few of them were cheating us to win the game to avoid playing as a finder.

Conclusion
It is a game which can be played in both indoor and outdoor,  if they are in an urban area which has no space to play they play in their home by hidding different rooms, if they play it as an outdoor game they have so much space to hide and it was so interesting to find.
