Introduction:
   We are 3 daughters to my father, as we are daughters my father has faced many critics from their family and society. Later when my nephew arrived with my family we felt like we were on cloud nine. Here I am going to talk about my nephew, whom I love the most.

Who is this child and how often do you see him or her? 
    The child I am referring to is my nephew. He is the son of my elder sister and he is the first grandchild of our family. He lives in pune city and I see him daily through video call.

How old is this child?
     My nephew is six years old. As I mentioned above, he was the first grandchild of our family so we treat him as king. He is doing his 1st grade in an ABC international school at pune.

What does he or she like?
    He is a very energetic and curious child. He is always asking questions and trying to understand how things work. He loves watching 3D movies.  He is very affectionate with me.

Explain what you feel about this child:
    I always have a very special bond with him, when he was around me i felt happy.  I never let anyone scold or hit him. Everyday we both speak through video calls and share about how we spend that day and he shares about what all happened on that day.

Conclusion:
     I would believe that our bonding will last forever. All my support and love towards him will never came to an end.

Introduction:

• I still remember the day when my best friend got married. 
• A couple years ago he and his wife became the parents of a cute boy.
• Here I am going to talk about my friend’s son and how I felt for him.

Who is this child and how often do you see him or her?

• The child whom I'm going to talk about was my best friend’s son. 
• His name was Thanish. As I am living in another country, I see him whenever I go to my native.

How old is this child?

• He was 3 years old. Recently I saw him on his birthday.  
• His father was my best friend.
• He invited me for thanish 1st and 2nd birthday but for some reason I wasn't able to go there. 
• This year I went to a thanish birthday. It was the first time I saw him.

What does he or she like?

• He looks the same as his mother, he was so chubby like a teddy bear and he is a talkative boy.
• If I make a call to his father, he pick's call and chats with me.

Explain what you feel about this child:

• Me and his father were best friends, we both have been together since we were in our 6th grade of schooling. 
• As he is my best friend’s son, I am so attached to him. Also he calls me aunty.

Conclusion:

• Now Thanish and my daughter became best friends like me and my best friend. 
• We couldn’t expect this from them, that they became best friend’s in the future.

Introduction:
  I have always believed that children are a pack filled with joy and happiness to many people. I am fortunate to know a child who is very special to me, and I always enjoy spending time with her. Here, I am going to describe a child whom I know.

Who is this child and how often do you see him or her? 
   Here I am going to talk about the child whom I know was my niece. Her name was Naksha, she is my elder brother’s first daughter. As we are living as a joint family I see her daily in my home.

How old is this child?
  She is 5 years old, she is doing her kindergarten schooling. Whenever she's around me it gives me a nostalgic feel.

What does he or she like?
From her childhood, she is very lovable and adorable. I love her very an awful lot and because of my affection closer to her, she has turn out to be very fond of me as well. I typically see her when I return from the workplace in the night and get to their house to spend some time with her.

Explain what you feel about this child: 
We frequently play hide-and-seek and other video games together. She loves to listen to ghost stories, adventurous testimonies and fairy tales. We often go to stroll in the field, go to open locations like parks,and we each love purchasing . She likes ice cream and I buy her ice-cream and sweets whenever we are outside.

Conclusion: 
     I always felt her as my own daughter, no one can take place in my heart.

Introduction: 

• As I was a single child, I didn't have anyone to play with or share my toys with. 
• But for the past couple of years I got a new child whom I felt like my sibling.

Who is this child and how often do you see him or her?

• Rudhran was my neighbor’s son. 
• A couple of  years back they came as renters to our nearby home.
• When he came here he was a 4 years old boy. 
• Every evening he came to my home to play with me.

How old is this child?

• Now he is 6 years old and he is doing his 1st grade in XXX international school near my house. 
• Now he came to my home for tuition.

What does he or she like?

• In Front of new people or unknown people he acts like a silent child.
• But actually, he is a very naughty and talkative boy.

Explain what you feel about this child:

• As I am a single child to my parents, I don't know how to treat a sibling or young one. 
• So at early i won’t allow him to let inside my room and I won't     play with him. 

Conclusion:

• Nowadays  I feel him as my own sibling, whenever i go out or shopping i would buy something for him.

Introduction: 
   My cousins and I are like best friend’s. We gather every year during our vacation in our native place. Here I am going to talk about my cousin’s son.  
Who is this child and how often do you see him or her? 
   Rihan was my cousin’s son. I have seen him only once, due to some reason I don't get any chance to see him or spend time with him.

How old is this child?
  He was born during the pandemic period(2020), now he is a 3 years old boy.  But I saw him this year only for the first time. Because he was his mother’s native, I went there for my work purpose so I grabbed this chance to meet him.

What does he or she like? 
   I think in my view he looks like his mother, with small eyes, cute lips. Even though it was our first meeting, he got attached to me so quickly. He never cries at all.

Explain what you feel about this child: 
    I think in the future he will be more attached to me than now. I had a couple days with him for those 2 days he never leaves me alone. I pamper him very much, like taking him for a bath, feeding him. 

Conclusion: 
   In those 2 days, when I was with him all my childhood memories came back. I could remembered the days when his father and I played together.

Introduction:

• As a teacher, I have to go along with many children every day. Here I would like to share about a child whom I know and also who is my close to heart child from my class.

Who is this child and how often do you see him or her?

• When I was working in XYZ primary school, I took classes for the 2nd grade students. 
• There are 25 students in class, among those Vihan is a kid who is close to my heart.
• As I was taking classes for him for a year, I often saw him.

How old is this child?

• He was just 6 years old. 
• His native was Kerala, a couple years ago he was in the USA, now his father has transferred to my place. 

What does he or she like?

• Not only for me he is the most favorite of all the teachers, who were all taking class to him.
• The thing which I admire about him is the way he speaks, his communication was so good.

Explain what you feel about this child:

• As I mentioned above, his communication was his plus point to him. I have also learned some words which I don't know. 
• Not only in his communication, he is also good at his studies.

 Conclusion:

• Not only the teachers will teach students, even teachers can learn from students if they don’t know. 

IELTS speaking part 3 - Describe a child whom you know follow up questions

   In part 3 of the IELTS speaking test, here the candidates will be given a follow up question session that is conducted for 4-5 minutes . We have provided some follow up questions related to the topic “describe a child whom you know”. It will help you to get good scores in your major exams.

Discussion topics: Relationships between parents and children:

1. How much time do children spend with their parents in your country? Do you think that is enough?
As far as I can see, parents in my country these days are not spending enough time with their children mainly because in most cases, like they both were engaged in their work. They spend a maximum of 3 hours a day.  After all, seeing off the children by their parents just before their bedtime and talking to them for a few minutes at breakfast almost every day should never be considered as “enough”.

2. How important do you think spending time together is for the relationships between parents and children? Why?
    It is most important for the parents to spend their time together with their children, parents should be like a friend with their children, it makes children to be free as like with their friends, they won’t hide anything.

3. Have relationships between parents and children changed in recent years? Why do you think that is?
    Yes, I would say that the relationship between parents and children in recent years have changed because of some reasons like when the children grew up, parents became stricter than before. when raising their children because of receiving conflicting messages from different kinds of media, and as a result, children are just not too sure about how to use their freedom and free time.

4. How can one become a good parent to their child?
    Teaching your children to be independent. Teach your children that it is okay for them to be different, and they do not have to follow the crowd. 

Discussion topics: Children’s free-time activities:

1. How should children use their free time?
     Playing board games and puzzles during leisure time are excellent ways for children to learn and nurture their young minds, also it  will challenge the kids’ thinking skills while helping them develop their social skills.

2. What are the most popular free-time activities with children today?
     Children love enjoying different kinds of activities during their free time which may include watching animated movies and cartoons on small and large screens, and playing different kinds of sports. These days too many childrens are playing video games and spending time on the internet at home and these are also considered to be the most popular free-time activities as they don’t really enjoy outdoor activities that much.

3. Do you think the free-time activities children do today are good for their health? Why is that?

   It all depends on what kind of activities the children are doing. If they are enjoying outdoor activities like playing different kinds of sports, swimming then they will certainly prove to be good for both their mental and physical health. On the other hand, if they are enjoying too much video games in isolation at their homes and eating fast food aplenty at fast-food restaurants, then it is fair to suggest that these activities will do no good for their physical and mental health.

4. How do you think children’s activities will change in the future? Will this be a  positive change?

    In the future activities are expected to be “more indoor” type where children would be encouraged to stay at homes and enjoy their activities, alone. And, if such is the case, it will have some negative impacts on the social and communication skills of the children in the long run.
