Introduction
Birds are amazing animals that can fly, sing, and display colorful feathers. Here I am going to share about a common bird in my country which I know.

What bird it is?
   The most common bird in India was Myna or Indian Mynah. There are many species of myna they are “Gracupica Mynas”, “True mynas”, “Jungle and hill mynas”

How it looks like?
  The common Myna looks brown in color with a black head, it has yellow bill, legs and bare eye skin. The life cycle of Myna was breeding, nesting(myna use various materials to build it), feeding(myna s are omnivorous) and vocalization.

Where you can see it?
 We can see it in the trees, electricity wires, communal roosts. Mostly they hunt their foods in the open area like harvesting land. Also we see how Myna was playful. 
In the evening we can see it as large groups in communal roosts. Mainly in the large trees, in roof videos.

Why you like it?
  I love the sound of Myna, it looks like hearing music. Sometimes if we repeat the same voice which myna gives it will reply to us with the same tone.

What is so unique about the bird?
  The myna can produce a wide range of noises, some of which resemble human speech. 

Conclusion:
  If we care for this bird with the right veterinary care and nutrition it will live up to 25 years.

Introduction:

  • There are many different common birds in my country like pigeon, Greater Coucal, hen etc.
  • Here I am going to share about a common bird in my country which I know.

What bird it is?

  • The Black drongo (Dicrurus macrocercus) is an asian passerine bird.
    They feed mainly insects like grasshoppers, wasps, bees, ants, beetles and dragonflies.

How it looks like?

  • Black drongo looks glossy black with a gray beak and legs and red eyes. 
  • It has a forked tail, but the tail and feathers are rounded.

Where you can see it?

  • The dicrurus macrocercus are predominantly found in fields, open country and in urban areas. 
  • Most of the time we can see black drongo in the thorny bushes.

Why you like it?

  • I have seen many black drongo near my home. I love the classy black which it has and I like to watch how it plays.

What is so unique about the bird?

  • Black drongos are so aggressive and bold, it may sometimes land on large birds of prey and peck them when mobbing.

Conclusion:

  • At last birds are playing an important role in humans’ life like for food, company, as pets, economic contribution etc.
  • We should not do any harmful activity which can affect birds.

Introduction:
Water birds are alternatively called aquatic birds which mostly live in water and feed food from water. Here I am going to share about a common bird in my country which I know.

What bird it is?
  Little Egret (Egretta Garzetta), these aquatic birds in India always live near the water. Adult little Egrets are 55-65 cm long with an 88-106 cm wingspan.

How it looks like?
  Their necks look like a strong “S”curve with white color and their bills and legs are in black color and eyes and feet are yellow in color.

Where you can see it?
  It can be seen in the coastlines, waterways like lakes, ponds and rivers. They catch fishes, insects and crustaceans by standing in water and flying over the surface. Little Egrets are sociable birds and they are often seen in the small rocks.

Why you like it?
  The one best thing that attracted me was the way the Egret waited for the food. Because Egret waits patiently and calmly to hunt the food to feed.

What is so unique about the bird?
  While hunting in the water, little egrets may spread their wings to shade the  water and to have a better view of the prey.

Conclusion:
One of Ireland’s most recent arrivals, the Little Egret, has shown a steady and significant increase since it arrived into Ireland 20 years ago and is now widespread across the entire country.

Introduction:

  • Pigeons are beautiful birds, which live in groups and move along with peer group. 
  • Here I am going to share about a common bird in my country which I know.

What bird it is?

  • The yellow-footed green pigeon is one of the species of green pigeon.
  • It was found in the Indian subcontinent and part of southeast Asia.  
  • This vibrant bird is the state bird of Maharashtra it is called as “Haroli” or “Hariyal”.

How it looks like?

  • It has yellow feet and legs with an emerald green body.

Where you can see it?

  • We can see it in Banyan trees and it has also been spotted in natural remnants in Urban areas.

Why you like it?

  • First I was attracted to the color of the yellow-footed green pigeon bird.
  • Especially I love the color in the head of the yellow-footed green pigeon.

What is so unique about the bird?

  • This species is not usually seen on the ground, with strong feet adapted for climbing.
  • It feeds on fruit, including many species of Ficus, and Forages in flocks.

Conclusion:

  • At present the population of pigeons is decreasing day by day because of pollution.
  • We should take some care to protect these beautiful creatures. 

IELTS speaking part 3 - describe a common bird on your country follow up questions.

   In part 3 of the IELTS speaking test, the allocated time limit for this part was 4-5 minutes. We have given some followup questions related to “describe a common bird on your country”. It will assist you to score good marks in exams.

1. Is bird watching a useful activity, or a waste of time.
   Bird watching is an amazing thing and it is a time pass activity. Also bird watching is a good exercise for the eyes. But some feel it as a waste of time.

2. Do birds give any message?
  Birds give us life lesson like be confident and trust yourself, flock together, spread your wings and be cheerful everytime.

3. Should we eat bird meat? Or should be consume bird products?
    Yes, we can eat bird meat. But make sure without any health concerns. Bird meat is a healthy and nutritious option that can be enjoyed as part of a balanced diet.
