Introduction:
 In ancient days people had various jobs which helped them to lead their life. Here I am going to share about the job which my grandfather did.

What job it was?
 Here I am going to talk about Mr. Krishnamurthy, who is my grandfather. He is a farmer, he has 3 acres of agricultural land. Agriculture is the art of cultivating the soil, growing crops.

When and where your grandparents did the job?
  My father had once told me that my grandfather was a farmer from the age of 25, he was doing his work in Thanjavur, which is called the rice bowl of Tamil Nadu. He has been cultivating rice in his land for more than 40 years. He harvests 2 times in a year.

How long he or she did the job?
 As I mentioned above my grandfather was a farmer from the age of 25, before he went to the agricultural land with his father to help him. After the age of 25 he started doing agriculture in his own land by himself. Now he is a 65 years old man but still now he is doing his job. It has been up to 40 years since, he is still doing his work without any difficulty.

Explain how you think about this job.
  I am so proud of saying that I am the granddaughter of a farmer. Also I was wondering how he was doing his work up to 40 years without any difficulty.

Conclusion:
  Nowadays there are many organizations that are coming forward to teach young people how to farm and advance their knowledge.

Introduction:

• My father always says something about his early days, how my grandparents raised him.
• Here I am going to share about the job which my grandfather did.

What job it was?

• I am going to talk about my grandfather’s job. He is a sculptor.
• A sculptor is an artist who makes sculptures, with some materials such as clay, metal, stone and wood.

When and where your grandparents did the job?

• The tradition of stone carving began from the rule of the pallavas.
• These stone carvings were used in most temples.  It plays a major role in temples in Kanchipuram. 
• Once my grandfather said that he was doing this job from the age of 30. He also said that it was a job which was done by his ancestors. 
• Still he is sculpting in the temples of Kanchipuram.

How long he or she did the job?

• It was almost 25 years that he was doing this job.
• He carves god and goddess statues, animal statues and different kinds of statues which are used to keep in decoration.  
• One of his best works was a statue which looked like a girl with her children.

Explain how you think about this job.

• I just wonder about his work, because even though the technologies have improved with many new machines for stone carving(Robotor uses a machine to create the sculptures).
• He is still using the olden equipment like Percussion tools: hammers, chisels and mallets.

Conclusion: 

• To lose patience is to lose the battle- Mahatma Gandhi, I think it was the perfect quote for patience. 
• Yes, making sculpture is not an easy job. Also this job is an example of patience.

Introduction:
  Weaving began some time before 5000 BC, it can be also mentioned as one of the ancient jobs. Here I am going to share about the job which my grandparents did.

 What job it was?
  My grandfather was a weaver. A weaver is a person who weaves different kinds of clothes like sarees, shirts, skirts, dhotis etc. It is a method of textile production in which two distinct sets of yarns and threads are used.

When and where your grandparents did the job?
  My father has said before that my grandfather was doing this work since 1978, he was doing his work in Kanchipuram. It is one of the famous places for weaving of silk sarees and clothes.

How long he or she did the job?
 My grandfather had done his job for over 42 years. Unfortunately during covid(2020) he passed away. Now my grandmother and my uncle are continuing his jobs.

Explain how you think about this job.
  Weaving is not an easy job, it is not only a physical but also a mental activity. Finishing a saree or cloth will take a lot of time and we need patience to work.

Conclusion: 
  Though weaving is still practiced by many, we have to follow and take it over to our next generation and we should save this weaving job.
