Model answer 1
Introduction
No one likes waiting, yet for something exceptional, one must be patient. I have waited countless times for various things, but I would want to discuss a time when it was particularly difficult for me to wait for something valuable.
What you waited for?
I remember the incident I was so excited and waited for our one-day picnic when I was in the tenth grade. It was our school's last picnic, thus it was our last chance to create wonderful picnic memories with our friends. The school chose to take us to "The Enjoy City," Gujarat's largest waterpark. Moreover, we were supposed to enjoy both adventurous and water rides and this makes us too excited that we were not able to talk about different topics we just talked about this all day and were unable to wait for this day. Moreover, we were going to experience both adventurous and water rides, which made us so thrilled that we were unable to discuss other topics, we simply spoke about this the entire day and could not wait for this day to arrive.
Why was it special?
The water park was recently established and popular in Gujarat. Additionally, several rides and adventurous facilities were available at the time also with the longest zip line in Gujarat. Consequently, we searched through all of the online videos and user reviews regarding the rides. In addition, we decided to make it even more memorable by throwing a surprise party for our professors. As a result of all this preparation, we were all anxious to attend and create lasting memories there.
Explain how you felt when you were waiting.
As the picnic was organized two months after our enrollment, it generated an atmosphere of suspense in our class. In addition, we discussed it daily in class and even urged our principal to preponed the date. However, we all remained patient afterwards and planned things in advance so that we could spend our time with friends without any worries.
Conclusion
Thus, it was ultimately worthwhile for us to foresee this particular day. Because we waited with patience for this day and as a result of that the memories are still intact.

Introduction
I enjoy special occasions because they provide mental relief from our stressful schedules. In India, festivals are celebrated with excitement and are regarded as extraordinary.
What you waited for?
I was so eager and waited for Uttarayan, also known as the Makar Sankranti celebration. It is celebrated with great enthusiasm and excitement. This extravaganza is really significant to me because my family and relatives love flying kites together. But I would like to talk about a time two years ago when I was studying out of town and excitedly expecting this festival and my return to my hometown. Because I desired to celebrate with my family and friends.
Why was it special?
It was particularly momentous to me because we used to participate in a kite celebration at this festival every year. And we've been winning this competition for over two years, which lets us create wonderful memories with our families. In addition, purchasing kites and reels for the day with my friends or family was too exciting for me. In addition, we host an annual event to worship God and invite our family and friends. As a consequence, we make lifelong memories together.
Explain how you felt when you were waiting.
This is why I couldn't wait to return to my hometown, and why I was so eager to celebrate this event. I even asked my parents and friends to wait for me before they went shopping for Kite festival supplies. In addition, I immediately booked my return flight because I was unable to wait until this day. When I returned to my hometown, there were countless stores and banners advertising this event, and everyone was anxious to enjoy it. As a result, I was unable to wait for this momentous occasion and returned home.
Conclusion
Thus, I believe it is preferable to wait for something exceptional, yet celebrating something extraordinary with family and friends maintains a special place in the hearts of everyone.

Introduction
Everyone likes special days and waiting for that special day is worth the celebration afterwards. Here I would like to talk about the time when I waited for my surprise birthday party.
What you waited for?
It was my 18th birthday and I was so excited and waited for that day because, for the first time, my family members and my friend circle told me that they would be going to arrange a surprise party for me. However, they didn’t tell me about the specifics of the party. That made me so anxious and I indirectly asked each and every person from my family and friend circle for any type of information. Despite of that I got no information and I was kept in dark this eventually made me worried and I was unable to wait for my birthday.
Why was it special?
As it was the first time that a party was organised for my birthday. They planned to surprise me by giving me a mobile phone and also booked a hall with beautiful decorations for my birthday. They also arranged numerous games for entertainment and ordered a special cake. It was a cricket field cake as I am inclined towards cricket. Also, all my friends and cousins were invited and it also turned out to be a short get-together and I was filled with gratitude.
Explain how you felt when you were waiting.
However, no one told me about this arrangement and I was in disguise. Moreover, I tried hard to gain a little information from my family members but I didn’t get any information. Furthermore, they started planning this 4 days before and I was left in suspense. Even though, I was delighted that for the first time we will celebrate my birthday together and will create memories that will last forever.
Conclusion
Thus the wait for four days turned out to be my most fruitful wait as we celebrated my birthday with great joy and enthusiasm.
Model answer 4
Introduction
Waiting can be worthwhile if accompanied by family members. There are many instances where I waited for something special however the wait resulted to be giving memories that are more fruitful than that special thing has happened. One such instance was 2 years ago.
What you waited for?
2 years ago, we were planning a trip to Kedarnath. I was so happy and waited for that day with full excitement. My family and relatives decided to go to the temple of Lord Shiva. This pilgrimage offers the joy of a devout centre and the sizzles of an idyllic tourist spot. We decided to take the road as the transporting medium to create exquisite memories. So we booked 3 cars and we planned to visit Manali afterwards. We were all excited and eagerly waited for that day.
Why was it special?
This trip was so special for me as every Indian wishes to visit Kedarnath once in a while before they die also when I was a child I always admired Lord Shiva so visiting one such place dedicated to Lord Shiva holds a special place in my life. So visiting this place was my dream. Moreover, going on a trip with family helps you to create splendid memories. In addition to that we had planned to visit Manali hence it was a special trip and memorable trip for me.
Explain how you felt when you were waiting.
However, waiting for it was the most memorable part for me. Before 1 week, all my cousins and relatives arrived at my home as we were supposed to travel together. When they all arrived I was so excited and eager to have to trip with them that we all discussed it and planned. Moreover, we all went for shopping clothes suitable for that weather and enjoyed it a lot. Furthermore, we relished the week with night-outs, outdoor games and restaurants.
Conclusion
Thus, we all enjoyed it a lot on the trip as well as waiting for that special day to arrive.

1. On what occasions do people usually need to wait?
In the current scenario, nobody wants to wait. But there are numerous situations where a person needs to wait such as an appointment with a doctor or any other institution. Also, a person should patient in organizing birthday parties or in any festival
2. Who behaves better when waiting, children or adults?
In my opinion, it depends on the situation. However, I think adults behave better when waiting for something special because they are more conscious of the situation and they have more experience than children. Nevertheless in many situations children behaves better than many adults such as waiting for a ride in the park.
3. Compared to the past are people less patient now, why?
Indeed, in the past people were able to manage their time due to less work while in the contemporary epoch everyone works in haste as they have ample work to do apart from waiting for a thing. Also in the past things such as cooking, washing clothes, etc took a long time to complete while in this era these same chores of work take only a couple of minutes, as a result, they are used to not waiting for things. Hence, nowadays people are less patient compared to the past.
4. What are the positive and negative effects of waiting on society?
There are multiple positive effects of waiting in society such as you can interact and communicate with other people while waiting for that special thing. It helps us to expand our friend circle. Moreover, we can improve our communication skills and can learn new things while talking with strangers.
However, by waiting for something unnecessary we could become impatient and can add stress to our life. Moreover, it has some negative effects on our behaviour such as getting irritated.
5. Are you a patient person?
Earlier, I used to be an impatient person and I used to get irritated while waiting for small things. However, with experience, I understood the worth of waiting even for a small occasion.
6. Do you think it is possible to teach people to be more patient?
In this contemporary era patience is a must-have characteristic as due to increasing competition every firm looks for a patient person who can handle things calmly. Moreover, it is evident that being impatient has many negative effects on a person’s mind such as feeling irritated, anger issues, stress, etc. However, I believe that a person can be taught to be more patient by enacting it in their daily routine and by making them aware of the benefits it provides to a person.
7. Some people believe that impatience helps the development of technology. Do you agree with that?– Why do you think so?
To some extent, I think that being impatient helps in the development of technology because the researchers pay more attention to creating new technology that can lead life of people more comfortable. Also, impatient people who work in the development of technology can left no stone unturned as a result of this the growth of technology would be multifold. However, I think it has some negative impact on society as working so hard impatiently can increase stress and lead them to become workaholics. Hence they cannot socialize with their friends and family members.
