Model answer 1 - Describe an activity that made you feel tired
Introduction
The housewarming ceremony left me feeling exhausted. Since it was our own ceremony, it was my responsibility to assist my parents with various tasks such as decorating, cleaning, and organizing.
When and where did it take place?
The ceremony took place a few months ago in Mumbai, the capital city of Maharashtra. The day before the event, all of my friends and family arrived at our guest house. It was my duty to ensure their comfort.
Why did you take part in it?
This is our own housewarming event and I had the responsibility to take care of everything. Since all our family members have gathered for this event and this was the first important function in my family, I had many responsibilities.
What was the activity?
The activity was a housewarming ceremony, which involved certain rituals such as Ganesh puja (worship of Lord Ganesh), Navagraha Shanti (worship of the nine planets), and vastu puja (worship for the harmony of the house).
Why did it make you feel tired?
I felt drained because I had a multitude of tasks to complete throughout the day. That included decorating our home, gathering necessary items for the puja, and serving food to the priests. I had to welcome the guests, ensure that they had food. I also gave a personal tour of our new house to every guest. At last I gave them nice handmade return gifts and made sure that they had a nice time at our function.
Conclusion:
By the end of the day, despite feeling physically exhausted, I felt emotionally satisfied. The memories we made throughout the day and the joy and amusement I experienced with my cousins left me feeling energized.

Introduction:
Well, let me share about my experience that left me physically exhausted yet emotionally satisfied. It was truly a remarkable experience we had while engaging in cycling.
When and where does it take place?
This occurred on the previous Saturday during a pleasant evening around 4:30pm. The weather was quite windy. Consequently, my friend and I decided to take a bicycle ride to the park.
Why did you take part in it?
Since it was a holiday and we were feeling bored being at home, we thought it would be a good idea to go for a short ride to the lovely park, even though it was far from our house, We chose to go in order to have a good time
What was the activity?
According to our plan, we used our bicycle to travel to our intended location. It took around two and a half hours to arrive at our destination. The route we took was truly breathtaking, with a stunning river flowing alongside the mountains. Additionally, we came across some fields where harvesting was taking place along the way.
Why did it make you feel tired?
As previously stated, it took us about one hour to reach our destination. The distance from our home was approximately 2 kilometers. During the first half an hour, we rode the bicycle happily, appreciating the beauty of nature. However, as we continued pedaling, our feet began to ache.
Conclusion:
Although this activity left me physically exhausted, I still was happy about this decision. I had a better connection with nature and I felt soul satisfied. Since I was so tired, I went home and went to bed.
Model answer 3 - Describe an activity that made you feel tired
Introduction
The activity that made me feel extremely tired was a hiking adventure I went on with my friends during the previous summer. As it was my first hiking trip, let me recount my experience during this particular activity.
When and where did it take place?
My friends and I decided to go hiking in Kullu Manali, a stunning location in India. We chose to embark on a day hike starting from the Dhungri about two km away from Manali and it involves walking through thick Deodar forests. We began our hike at around 10 am and finished in the evening, around 6 or 7 pm.
Why did you take part in it?
I took part in this activity because I wanted to immerse myself in the beauty of nature. Personally, I have a passion for adventure activities, and I saw this hike as a personal challenge to test myself physically.
What was the activity?
As mentioned earlier, we had planned to go on a day hike to the Lama Dugh trek in Kullu Manali. This trek is one of the shortest ones in Manali. We went during the summer, towards the end of June, and the weather was fantastic. The warm sunlight balanced out the cold breeze from the snow-capped mountains.
Why did it make you feel tired?
The hike itself was quite tiring. It covered a distance of approximately 17 km and took us around 8-9 hours to complete. At the beginning, the trail was relatively easy, but as we continued, it became steeper and narrower. Consequently, my legs started to sore, my back started to ache, and blisters developed on my feet.
Conclusion:
Despite the difficulties, I managed to complete the hike with the help of my friends. It was a challenging experience, but it turned out to be an unforgettable moment for me.
Model answer 4 - Describe an activity that made you feel tired
Introduction
Feeling fatigued is a common occurrence when we push ourselves beyond our physical limits. In this text, I will discuss an activity that left me feeling tired.
When and where did it take place?
This happened to me during a summer vacation when I visited my hometown. Specifically, it took place at my grandparents' residence.
Why did you take part in it?
I decided to take part in this activity because I had a strong desire to learn gardening. It had been a long-standing interest of mine, and since my grandfather was already engaged in this work, I chose to assist him and learn from his expertise.
What was the activity?
The activity I did with my grandfather was gardening. I had previously learned that gardening is a difficult task that involves various processes such as dealing with weeds and pests, managing space to prevent competition between plants, taking care of feeding, watering, and pruning, and preparing the soil.
Why did it make you feel tired?
Since it was my first time doing gardening work, I felt tired after doing even small tasks. The specific postures and positions I had to maintain while weeding and planting caused fatigue in certain areas of my body, affecting my muscle groups.
Conclusion
Despite feeling tired after gardening, it has proven to be a great way to reduce stress and anxiety. Additionally, it helps me sleep more easily and to get more pleasant dreams.
IELTS speaking part 3 - Describe an activity that made you feel tired. Follow up questions.
In part 3 of the IELTS speaking test, the given time limit for this section was 4-5 minutes. We have given some followup questions related to “Describe an activity that made you feel tired”. It will help you for your major exams.
1. Have you ever wondered how the issue of elderly individuals becoming fatigued quickly can be resolved?
In my view, individuals who do not get sufficient sleep and have certain health problems tend to become easily tired. Engaging in regular physical activities such as walking and stretching can assist them in alleviating stress and anxiety, while also enhancing their mood and overall state of health
2. Do people have fewer holidays now than in the past?
Yes, now-a-days people have less holidays compared to previous times. It is because in the modern age, competition is increasing constantly and leads people to be overwhelmed with work. As a result it decreases people's holiday and increases their work pressure.
3. Does studying and learning make people tired today?
Studying and learning make people exhausted today. Because people get tired after a few hours of studying because it requires intense concentration, which requires willpower- a limited mental resource. Their focus is on securing good grades rather than understanding the concepts, disregarding their own health.
4. What are some potential solutions to address the issue of older adults experiencing quick fatigue?
There are several measures that can be taken to alleviate the problem of older adults getting tired easily. Firstly, they should engage in mental tasks rather than physical ones. Given their age, their bodies may not be suitable for physically demanding jobs. Yoga, meditation, deep breathing, and stretching may help reduce stress and anxiety and help you get more rest. Therapy or certain medications may also help relieve anxiety and depression that may be contributing to fatigue.
5. When do people usually feel tired?
People usually get tired when they have exerted themselves mentally or physically. Such as after doing any physical activities like walking, running, exercise etc or when they had a lengthy day in work or school. Sometimes stress, depression and dealing with life challenges may also make them feel tired.
6. Do you think outdoor activities are more tiring than indoor activities? Why?
Outdoor activities tend to be more physically demanding and tiring than indoor activities, because playing outside allows kids to develop more advanced motor skills than children who spend most of their time indoors, including agility, balance and coordination.
