Introduction 
I am highly interested in developing enthusiasm and positive habits for my everyday routine. So now I'm going to talk about my pastime of running.

Well, my hobby is running!  I know I do not really look like a runner, and it is true I am not very fast, but this is still the activity that I like to do in my spare time.

How long have you been doing it?
I began running 28 months ago to get in shape inexpensively. Surprisingly, I found enjoyment in it. There's a lovely park nearby with trees and streams. Every Saturday at 9:00 a.m., around 500 people gather to run a 5 km race together.

Why you enjoy it?
Running has helped me make many friends, but the most incredible surprise was bumping into someone I hadn't seen in 30 years at a local Parkrun. We went to school together but lost touch.

 I worked hard to identify my interests and establish wholesome routines. So I'll talk about raising alpacas.

Today, I want to share with you a hobby I enjoy during my free time. I'll describe what the hobby is, how I got into it, how many years I've been doing it, why it's meaningful to me, and the advantages it brings.

How long have you been doing it?
I do something unique in my free time – I help out at an Alpaca Farm! Alpacas are animals raised for their soft fleece. They look a bit like long-necked sheep. While they're originally from South America, there's a farm near Sheffield where I work on weekends. Surprisingly, it's not just alpacas there; they have horses, goats, sheep, ducks, hens, and even llamas. I got into this because I really like animals.

Why you enjoy it?
I start my day early on the farm, taking care of alpacas and other animals. I feed them, clean up after them, and sometimes use a tractor to bring hay and water to the horses. My favorite time is spring when baby alpacas are born. They quickly learn to stand, drink milk from their moms, and start running around, which is amazing to see.

My unusual hobby is incredibly meaningful to me. It has numerous advantages. I work in an office full-time, mostly sitting, so on weekends, I like to do physical outdoor work in the countryside. 3. Why do you think people need to have an interest or hobby?
Hobbies are more important than we might think. They offer a chance to try new things, learn new skills, and relieve stress. Hobbies can boost our confidence and energy, making us more productive in our daily lives.

4. In your country, how much time do people spend on work and how much time on leisure? Is this a good balance, do you think?
In many developing countries, including my own, most people have to work long hours to make a living. This leaves them with very little free time, even though they want more. While this can be good for their finances, it makes it hard for them to have a good balance between work and leisure because they have so little time for relaxation and fun.

5. Would you say the amount of free time has changed much in the last fifty years?
Certainly, over the past fifty years in my country, there has been a noticeable reduction in the amount of free time available. This shift has been acknowledged by many older family members who express concerns about the increasing need for people to work longer hours. 

6. Do you think people will have 'more' or 'less' free time in the future? Why?
While we can't know exactly what will happen in the future, we can make some educated guesses. One prediction is that we'll have less and less free time in the future, which we usually spend with our loved ones and enjoying the small joys of life. We can foresee this because we've already observed how busy we've become in the last 50 years doing things that don't really matter in the grand scheme of things, and there's no sign that this will change.

7. What all effective improvements may arise while practicing a hobby or interest?
Engaging in a hobby or personal interest brings many benefits. It improves skills, boosts creativity, and enhances problem-solving. Plus, it's a great stress reliever, offering a sense of accomplishment and joy. Moreover, pursuing a hobby can also have positive impacts on mental well-being by acting as a stress reliever and providing a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment.
