Introduction:
  A stadium is a place or venue for outdoor sports, concerts or other events with a capacity of at least 10,000 seats. Here I am going to share about my favorite stadium.

Name of the stadium?
  Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, also called the Marina Arena is a multi-purpose stadium. It has a capacity of 40,000 seats. It hosts football matches and athletic competitions. The stadium is also used for functions and concerts. The stadium earlier hosted Cricket test matches between 1956 and 1965.

Where it is located?
  The stadium is located at Sydenhams Road, Park Town behind the Chennai Central suburban railway station and the Ripon Building.

When and who did you go with?
  On 3rd April of 2023, I went to a karate tournament which was held at Nehru stadium. It was a state tournament which was conducted by the KAI karate association. As I was living in Kanchipuram, I had to reach chennai by train so I came with my mother to participate in my tournament.

How important this stadium is?
  Stadiums which had the capacity of at least 10,000 seats were used by association football. Nehru stadium has 40,000 seats so many football matches were held there so this stadium is important.

Conclusion: 
  This stadium was constructed in an area where the old Madras Zoo was located behind the ripon building. After the Zoo was shifted to the present Location.

Introduction:

• A stadium is usually a large roofless building with tiers of seats for spectators at sports events.
• Here I am going to share about my favorite stadium.

Name of the stadium?

• Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey stadium, it was named after M. Radhakrishnan Pillai.
• It holds a special place in the hearts of hockey fans, players, and officials alike

Where it is located?

• It is located in the center of chennai (Egmore), Tamil Nadu India.
• It was the venue for the 1996 Men’s Hockey Champion Trophy, and hosted the tournament again in December 2005.

When and who did you go with?

• Couple months ago I went there for a Hockey tournament as an audience.
• It was an international tournament so the association team of the tournament gave us a ticket for the tournament.
• With that ticket I went there with my friends.

How important this stadium is?

• As it was the only Hockey stadium which has more facilities to conduct major international tournaments.
• So it is considered as an important stadium in chennai also Tamil Nadu Government has really gone all-out to give this iconic stadium a new look.

Conclusion:

• The major international events are held on 1996 (Men’s hockey champions Trophy), 2005(Hockey champions Trophy), 2007 (Men’s Hockey Asia cup)

Introduction:
Stadium is an enclosure that combines broad space for athletic games and other exhibitions with a large seating capacity for spectors. Here I am going to share about my favorite stadium.

Name of the stadium?
  M.A. Chidambaram stadium, is popularly known as the Chepauk Stadium. Formerly known as Madras Cricket Club Ground, the stadium is named after M.A. Chidambaram, It was established in 1916. The total area of the stadium is 69,900 square meters with the capacity of 76,000 sectors. It is the second oldest cricket station in the country.

Where it is located?
  The stadium is located at Chepauk, a few meters from Marina beach. The stadium is connected through the Chennai Metro by the Government Estate station.

When and who did you go with?
   I went there with my cousin’s for the ICC Cricket world cup, held on March 5th, 2023. It is a match between India vs Australia- India won by 6 wkts. It was my first experience of seeing the World Cup live.

How important this stadium is?
  It is the home ground of the Tamil Nadu Cricket team and the Indian premier League team Chennai Super Kings. Still it was holding all international cricket matches.

Conclusion: 
   But more than the records, what stands out at Chepauk is the atmosphere and the crowd, reputed to be the most knowledgeable and appreciative in the country.
