Introduction 

Songs are the most inevitable part of my life and there are numerous songs I have heard till date. However, here I would like to talk about one such song which is my favourite.

What?

The name of the song is Dariya. The name of the song itself signifies internal peace and relaxation. Moreover,The music of this very song is composed and sung by my favourite music artist Amaal malik which makes it more special.

Why?

Looking forward to liking a song I consider many criteria. First of all, it is the lyrics followed by the music and the artists performing for the music cover. Whenever I hear a song I notice the lyrics, the background music and who composed it. Therefore, “Dariya” is a song which gets a complete 10 in all the three major criteria, in my opinion. Speaking further, the whole story depicted in the song, the joy and happiness makes it more interesting and attractive.

How do you feel about this song?

Whenever I feel lonely or I want to take a break from work or studies I hear this song. It not only soothes my mind but it helps me to calm and feel free. Sometimes, I even dance by myself. Listening to this song makes my soul dance and joyful.

When was the first time you heard this song?

I heard this song randomly for the very first time when I was playing random people's music on Spotify. I was so surprised by listening to this song that for the next few days I heard this song on loop.

Conclusion

I felt very fresh and relaxed after listening to this song. I also recommend all my friends to listen to this song.

Introduction 

There are a lot of genres upon which music and songs depend. Each and every song has its own music and way to attract people. But here I would like to talk about one of my favourite music.

What?

The most famous song, Subhanallah from an epic movie Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani is the one song which comes across my mind whenever I think about music or songs. The lyrics and tunes present in the song are very pleasant and refreshing.

Why?

The song is sung by the legend Pritam which is the main reason why I adore this song. The vocals of this legendary singer makes the audience fall in love with the song instantly. Moreover, the lead actors in this song also attract a lot of viewers. The whole composition of this particular song is on some other level which makes me feel like listening to it every time.

How do you feel about this song?

This song is close to my heart. It is totally a chartbuster song. This romantic title track can make anybody fall in love. I had even performed a dance on the same track during my annual day and won 1st prize. Therefore, this is an evergreen song for me. It always fits well in all my circumstances and would never get bored listening to it.

When was the first time you heard this song?

My friends and I were playing a game where we had to guess songs based on the actions. It was by this game I came across this song and fell in love with the song immediately. I listen to this song whenever I feel sad or lack energy and the music of this song acts like magic.

Conclusion

No matter how many times I hear the song Subhanallah I will never get bored of listening to it. And will embrace the song the same way every time, with the same excitement and happiness.

Introduction 

I have always been a music enthusiast and love to hear all kinds of songs. But amongst all there’s only one motivational song for life and it is ‘All is well’.

What?

The song “all is well” is from an Indian movie namely- Three Idiots. It is a very special and influencing movie which shows strong friendships and how to keep that friendship throughout life. This song was first to cross 100 billion views when the movie was released.

Why?

The song itself depicts that we need to relax and let go of things during hard times and not to stress, to share hard times with friends and let them advise you. Most importantly, the lyrics depict the life lessons and phases that will pass soon after the storm. 

How do you feel about this song?

Honestly, I feel motivated and whenever I have downfalls  in life I hear this song as it helps me to erase all the negativity for the situation I am stuck in and gives me strength to move on and look on the brighter side. Moreover, it motivates how to approach life. 

When was the first time you heard this song?

I was in the first year of my college and it was a new movie. At that time I went with my peer group to watch that movie and this song enticed me. It made me relate with all the  challenging times. Furthermore, it tells us that the unfortunate situations of our life could be changed when we handle the conflicts in our lives adroitly.

Conclusion

The punchline of the song “All is well” gives a message that whenever we are in an unfortunate situation, we need to say to our mind that all is well. This practice helps us encourage our minds to find solutions to the problems.

IELTS Speaking Part 3: Describe your favourite song Follow-up questions 

Subsequent questions and answers begin after the cue card portion. The follow- up questions will take 5-6 minutes and the questions asked will be related to the above cue card question.

1. What types of songs are the most popular among today’s young generation in India?
In this modernising era, the most trendy songs in India are rap and pop songs. Younger generations love songs with catchy lyrics and catchy beats. These individuals are also fond of country music,rock and most importantly jazz music. By listening to such songs the youngsters feel elated and enthusiastic.

2. Why do you think pop music is so popular?
Pop music is very famous as these kinds of songs have catchy beats as mentioned before and catchy tunes which make people groove on these tunes and make them dance. Moreover, pop music has beaten all the other song types as not only youngsters but individuals with elder ages like to hear them and feel refreshed.
