I am aware that many cybercrimes occur every day in this world. So I stopped using pirated content and downloaded and installed antivirus software on my computer. This will protect my computer from any potential threat to the data on my computer.

My brother is a techie and he has bought a lot of IoT-enabled devices which is used at our home. These devices can be controlled using some apps on his smartphone with an internet connection. We also use the internet using a wireless router.
4. How do you think technology has changed in the last decade?
The number of websites available on the internet has increased and we are able to access many e-books. We can use can transfer money online using Electronic Funds Transfer technology.
5. What are the advantages of technology?
Technology has helped us bring the world close to us. We can now see anyone in the world from anywhere using video conferencing. We can use social media to find and make friends online.

I would like to talk about the first time I used a smartphone.
I got my first smartphone in 2016 when joined college. It was a basic smartphone from the Motorola brand. It was a new experience for me. I quickly learned how to use it and downloaded many social media apps.
I took this phone daily to my college. I felt that I had access to everything through my phone. The phone was very smooth to use for one year and after that, it started to hang and become slow. I had heavy use with the phone as I used it to browse the internet, check emails, make calls and use social media.
There were so many functions in the phone that I didn't need the help of any other gadgets. I even reduced using my laptop as my phone was easy to carry around. The phone also had a good camera so I didn't have to buy a camera.
I feel most people would have gone through the same experience as mine.

As a student technology has helped me get a lot of innovative ideas as I could explore a lot of study material from the internet. I wanted to become a software developer and the internet has helped me a lot in learning to code.
4. Why are people using their mobile phones more these days?
Smartphones have become an inevitable part of our lives and I feel we cannot live without them nowadays. The dopamine released in our brains gives us pleasure and satisfaction and hooks us for longer periods of time on the phone. People also spend more time on e-commerce websites looking for something attractive to buy.
5. How do you think people nowadays watch movies?
With the introduction of OTT now people have moved to smartphones and tablets to watch movies. They feel it is convenient to stream movies through different movie apps. I think OTT technology has become a breakthrough for the movie industry.
