  • Describe a time when you started using a new technological device

I would like to talk about the first time I used a smartphone.

I got my first smartphone in 2016 when joined college. It was a basic smartphone from the Motorola brand. It was a new experience for me. I quickly learned how to use it and downloaded many social media apps.

I took this phone daily to my college. I felt that I had access to everything through my phone. The phone was very smooth to use for one year and after that, it started to hang and become slow. I had heavy use with the phone as I used it to browse the internet, check emails, make calls and use social media.

There were so many functions in the phone that I didn't need the help of any other gadgets. I even reduced using my laptop as my phone was easy to carry around. The phone also had a good camera so I didn't have to buy a camera.
