The presented flowchart clearly shows the steps involved in producing consumer goods in an organised manner. Moreover, it gets the feedback from the earlier stages to make improvements. 

Overall, It shows different production and sales stages as well as feedback from earlier stages that enable the process to progress and modifications. Additionally, it is a linear process.

Firstly, the purchase of produced components and raw materials, which are stored for the planning of the production process, marks the beginning of the product manufacturing process. Meanwhile, product research and design are stages of the production planning section. After the production planning is done, assembly, inspection, testing, and packing of the finished product are all completed consecutively as part of the process before the item is sent to be sold to customers.

While the process is on, the several feedback is shared between the different stages. First, production planning gives feedback to the storage. Next, sales provide feedback to the manufacturing planning and market research. Furthermore, market research shares its feedback to the packaging and advertising. At the same time, testing and market research offers feedback to design.

The provided diagram displays the environmental problems increased by a consumer product over its lifecycle. In fact, it can be clearly understood that this is a cyclical process after understanding the diagram.

By looking at the whole diagram, the total process consists of 7 steps starting from planning and design and ending with recycling and mainly it has bad effects on the environment.

In the first stage, planning and design begin the product creation process. Secondly, the consumption of materials and energy resources is the next step in product manufacturing. Then the next stage is production. The previous three stages can have some adverse effects on the environment by discharging waste and releasing CO2. 

After the production of the products, they are sent to the packaging department. Once packaging is completed, the distributors send the products for sale. Finally, the products reach the customers and they share their feedback about the product, which is helpful for planning and designing departments to improve product quality. However, the disposal of products affects the environment, the recycling step reduces the impact and helps to manufacture new products.
