Model Sample Answer 1 Band 8 - A rise in the standard of living in a country often only seems to benefit cities rather than rural areas. What problems can this cause? How might these problems be reduced?

We all are saying that urban living people are well beneficiaries. But we all don’t know the  problem that they are facing. Yes there are so many problems even though it improved much with new facilities. Below we can see what the problem they were facing and the solution for it.

We all say that urban areas are better than rural areas but in urban areas there are many major problems living there. Here I am going to talk about one of those major problems. That is the price is high. Price of each product was twice as high as the rural areas. Because of the demands and needs of people. Everyone in the city will buy every product from shops like vegetables, fruits, flowers since there is no place to cultivate in the city. But, in the village we cultivate our required vegetables, fruits and harvest as fresh from our garden. 

City residents were not paying only for the product, they needed to pay for transportation costs too. Not only for things even for all the households and other products are high in price when we compare with rural areas.

Government will have to take some measures to solve this problem, there should be co ordinate between state and center governments and should fix a common price for each product all over the country. They should not store the goods in warehouses and reliving them in the market when the demand is increased, it will definitely increase the price. Only then can this problem be curbed.

Improving facilities in cities will increase the living standard of the country. It seems good from the outside, but there are so many problems inside, people are unaware of the problems that occur in the cities, they thought city lifestyle was very beneficial. Here, I am going to write about the problems that occur and the solution for this problem according to my assumption.

The problem that occurs in cities is pollution, when cities are improving day to day, pollution is also increasing day to day. As we know there are four types of pollution like air, water, noise and land. All these four types of pollution were destroying cities.
For example: when the residents increased, the transport facilities were also increased thrice population, when it happens the air pollution will automatically occur.  Because people were using their vehicles to move from one place to another place. And the black smoke which is released by the companies, these are the major reasons to pollute air. 

Not only the air, as humans being, also we are polluting the water surface, by putting garbage in the rivers, lakes. Companies were letting their waste waters into rivers, lakes. Not only these activities, we were letting animals swim. Apart from all these we all know that these activities pollute water, but we are doing the same thing. 

We can reduce it by taking some measures like to avoid polluting air, we can avoid using much transports, instead of it we can use bicycles to move, it will help us to inhale good air. For example We all have seen with our eyes, at the time of Co-vid the sky was so pure, because no smoke was released by the vehicles. As a human we all have that fonding to live for a long time, if we follow some measures. It helps us to increase our sustaining days.

Nowadays cities are getting more benefits than rural areas, but there are so many problems. Though there are many facilities, we have to face some causes to live there. Here I am going to share a few problems which occur there and the solution for it.

We all know that the city looks so good, neat and has a good atmosphere but even though it was improved with many facilities, some places look good and neat in atmosphere. Yes, sanitizing. The Government of India appointed few workers to sanitize our surroundings, but workers in some areas were doing their job as well, especially in the main cities, but in most of the places they were not doing their job, once in a week or once in two weeks they were cleaning the garbage, or they were complaining of non-payments of money and stop working,

 As we all know that in villages there are more animals compared to urban areas, but they are keeping their society as clean and natural, by planting trees, using biodegradable garbs as fertilizers. It helps them to lead happy and healthy lives. The most notable thing in rural lifestyles is they avoid using non-biodegradable things like plastics. Mostly they use aluminum vessels, mud vessels and steel vessels. Even they avoid plastic covers instead they use cotton bags etc.

As a city resident we should take steps to keep our surroundings neatly as if the sanitizing workers were not doing their jobs, but we cannot blame them, so form a group for social service(FASS) and take some actions like avoiding plastics,non-biodegradable products to use, to keep our surroundings neat and good.

Model Sample Answer 4 Band 6.5 - A rise in the standard of living in a country often only seems to benefit cities rather than rural areas. What problems can this cause? How might these problems be reduced?

Cities are improving much better than rural areas, but there are many problems occurring in cities. Here I am going to write about the problem and the solution according to my assumption.

The first problem that I can say is overpopulation. It is caused because of migration of people from rural areas to urban areas, due to many reasons: good education facilities, good lifestyle, some will say that they migrate to improve their knowledge and to explore many things, but the majority of people migrated for work and job. Most of the major companies were opening their new branches in the main cities. To grab their work and improve their lifestyle people prefer to move from their rural area to urban areas. 

Nowadays most of the youngsters were preferring IT jobs to sustain, those IT corporate companies were in the city side, so many corporate companies were launching their new branches in the cities. It provides so many job opportunities to youngsters. 

The major reason for overpopulation in cities was, the person who was working was not migrating, alone to the city, they migrated to the city with their whole family. 

To avoid this, those companies can also launch their new branches in rural areas, so as a result urban people will migrate to rural areas. By using this reason this rural area will also improve much it seems like ‘one stone two goal’.
