Model Sample Answer 1 Band 8 - University education should be free for all students. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Higher education is something that a lot of students today want to do at least once in their life. Universities are urged to make their educational services available to all students without charge. Nonetheless, I think institutions must charge every recipient for two reasons.
The first reason why students should be required to pay is that I believe they will not take their education seriously and will not make the most of it if it is provided at no cost to them. In other words, individuals frequently fail to recognize the value of something, such as free instruction, and as a result, they may not attend or enroll in free courses out of the mistaken belief that they are of inferior quality. Therefore, students should be required to pay at least a little amount to attend university classes, so that they may ensure that the quality of the instruction they get is comparable to that of other courses.
Universities need funds for maintenance. Many of these organizations must generate cash to function properly. Many schools, even some that had previously provided free education, had to close because they lacked the resources to continue operating, such as money for research and employee salaries. Therefore, in my opinion, if no one is paying financial repayments to their educational institutions, it will have a catastrophic effect on the long-term stability of these organizations due to a lack of operating revenues to support academics.
To sum up, I believe that universities should charge tuition for the services they provide, not only because doing so would boost students' trust in the academies' pedagogical credentials but also because doing so would generate much-needed revenue for the institutions.

Model Sample Answer 2 Band 7.5 - University education should be free for all students. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Educating today's youth is more important than ever if we want to see a better tomorrow. Students pay fees to take classes and gain Institute knowledge. Most students lack the financial aid to enroll in and complete their education at their preferred universities. Regarding education, all students should be exempt from paying any fees.
Initially, free education motivates pupils to perform better. When a student is exempted from paying college costs, he is ecstatic that he no longer needs to consider it. As a result, he endeavors to study more effectively to appreciate this possibility. Second, students are not the only ones that grow here; society does as well. By letting pupils finish school, society will get a reliable, productive workforce, boosting results. Countries that invest in their kids' education are more inventive and creative.
Occasionally, free education may have the opposite effect on pupils. Because they didn't earn it, students wouldn't find it hard to drop out of school if everything was easy. Giving them this chance would be a waste since they would evaluate its worth based on how challenging it is. It's possible that providing education for free might lower standards of learning. Most schools rely on student fees for infrastructure and materials. Without this, schools would be relying only on government money and unable to improve.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that education should be free as everyone, regardless of their level of wealth, ought to continue to have equal access to educational opportunities. It will also guarantee that nations can flourish and go into the next stage of evolution with a workforce that is educated to the highest possible level.

Model Sample Answer 3 Band 7 - University education should be free for all students. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Higher education fees in the world are expensive and not affordable for everyone, hence some universities believe that education should be free for all individuals regardless of background. In my opinion, university education should be provided free of charge since it will benefit both people and society.
One important reason to remove tuition costs is that it provides everybody with equal rights regardless of their socioeconomic status. Currently, kids from disadvantaged backgrounds are unable to attend college because they cannot pay the costs. This condition, which may be prevented by removing tuition costs, excludes and discriminates against a huge segment of society. Some 75% of all college students have to work to cover the costs of their education, as per the survey by Stanford University. As a result, free higher education should provide better results since students would be able to devote their whole attention to their studies.
Finally, free university education will help society in the long term because it will make higher education available to a larger segment of the population. This will increase the number of educated individuals. In other words, having a larger pool of qualified professionals will benefit society as a whole. Furthermore, it can provide economic benefits to a country that demonstrates itself to be rich and leading in a variety of disciplines.
To summarise, free university education is critical for every society that cherishes equal rights and desires to progress. The expense of free education will be more than offset by the benefits it provides.

Model Sample Answer 4 Band 6.5 - University education should be free for all students. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
In the present environment, when access to knowledge is a priority, education ought to be provided without charge. There are a few positive outcomes from doing this, but I believe there are even more effective ways to educate, which will be detailed in the following article.
Free courses have several perks. With free knowledge, any person may obtain teaching according to his aptitude, including newborns who can't afford decent tutoring. In today's pricey lifestyle, free education will at least allow talented and skilled residents' children to widen their horizons by attending school. Schools use this system. Delhi Public School, one of the best institutions in India, offers scholarships to many talented students so they may pursue their interests and obtain free tuition.
However, eliminating all tuition fees may result in erroneous findings. If the regime waives all tutoring, such as school and college fees, the authority coffers would benefit much, resulting in a drop in authority coffers. The ministry's own resources, from which it funds several programs for the public's benefit, will suffer a severe hit. Social growth halts. It has been established that a healthy lifestyle demands a stable income, and thus a job, and the regime produces new jobs and employment possibilities using money from its treasury. However, there may be significant losses as a result of this.
Lastly, tuition should be made accessible for youngsters who are well-versed in education or who cannot afford to study. The country can be successful and rich if the government focuses on indoctrination and other human development areas.
