It is undeniable that the emergence of global media has significantly modified the world. Exposure to global media has both positive and negative (unfavourable) impacts on local cultures, which I will explain in this essay. In my opinion, the fact that international media is so widely available is largely beneficial.

There are various benefits to international media and its influence on local cultures. To begin with, the international press teaches us a lot about the traditions and cultures of other nations. We can watch any foreign film or web series on television from the comfort of our homes. Television can keep us entertained while we learn about new cultures. Similarly, we can also learn new languages. Moreover, the media covers global and social matters. It draws attention to issues like female feticide, unemployment, and domestic violence, all of which are incredibly educational and raises public awareness. Furthermore, international media provide nations with a platform where they can exhibit their achievements to a global audience.

The downsides of exposure to worldwide media include the following: The influence of foreign media on family values seems to have been noticeable. Some people are so fascinated by global cultures that they have practically forgotten their cultural roots. In addition, several recent studies lend support to the theory that an excessive amount of exposure to international media can have an impact on the conduct of young people since such media contain information that is associated with obscenity, illegal drugs, and criminal activity.

To conclude, just as every garden has weeds, international media has its flaws. The benefits far surpass the drawbacks. Therefore, it is up to the people to avoid becoming highly influenced by other cultures or forgetting their traditions. A little media exposure from around the world didn't damage anything.

Foreign media, such as movies, TV shows, and journals, are increasingly popular today because people watch them frequently and they have a significant impact on the local culture of a nation. The consequences of this trend on society are numerous in quantity. In my opinion, the benefits gained from this trend outweigh the disadvantages.

First of all, the fact that people like to be connected to international media platforms has both good and bad effects. On the one hand, it has proven beneficial for local societies that are increasingly connected to global society. For example, it has facilitated trade between continents and mixed different ethnic groups across the world. On the other side, it appears to be detrimental for the local population in that they are losing the basic aspects of their distinctive culture. They copy foreign cultures and, consequently, abandon their traditions and practices.

The benefits of society's growing tendency to read journals and articles and watch international news outweigh the disadvantages, though. On the positive side, the public is more connected than ever before in the history of mankind. This is entirely due to a natural curiosity about other communities. People are interested in understanding the habits, traditions, and lifestyles of people abroad. They may apply what they have learned to make changes in their behavior and working habits. This is evident in people learning values, etiquette, and manners from people in various parts of the world. As a result, the benefits of this trend outweigh the drawbacks.

To sum up, the values and traditions of the people, in general, are strongly influenced by their exposure to international media. Even though it has some drawbacks, I think that the benefits we gain from it exceed the disadvantages.

One reason that leads to the tendency of people to lean towards western culture at the expense of their own cultures is the influence of movies, television shows, and magazines from foreign countries, whose availability is in abundance. In my opinion, the disadvantages of international media vastly outnumber the positive outcomes.

To begin with, movies constitute one of the most prominent influences on altering human attitudes. The majority of international films, in particular, are of the thriller and action genre. The content encourages inappropriate and impolite behavior in young children. To illustrate, a survey done on the viewers of action films found that ninety percent of adolescents are developing a criminal mindset as a result of watching these western movies, which have a lot of violent and criminal parts. Additionally, the culture is also being influenced by television and periodicals. Many individuals are abandoning their culture and embracing western culture. They are adopting this lifestyle habit for momentary pleasure. A whole generation may transform over the succeeding years if these practices continue.

On the contrary, there are some benefits to media adaptation. We could learn more about various cultures and lifestyles through television programs. Furthermore, individuals who spend time reading books or magazines that are published abroad may eventually get fluent in that language. The more we exchange our thoughts and ideas through media, the better our mutual understanding will be. As a result, we will be able to reduce the hostility between countries.

In conclusion, there are several impacts that increased exposure to international media has on people. However, I believe the negative impacts outweigh the positive outcomes. We should enjoy foreign lifestyles and cultures, but not at the cost of our own.

Communication is made simpler with the help of globalization. People are therefore increasingly drawn to foreign-language television shows, periodicals, and movies. According to experts, this practice affects local cultures; however, I think it is helpful in skill development, multilingualism, and entertainment.

To begin with, one of the most negatively impacted customs would be the traditional practices, such as the fact that people have started using spoons instead of their hands as they did in the past. This is due to the influence of foreign cultures, through which we are losing our ancestral cultural practices and traditions, resulting in cultural erosion. Furthermore, the influence of foreign media on children is much greater. The portrayal of schools and the educational system on television shows is encouraging students to study abroad. This is causing a brain drain in the home country.

However, the influence of these mediums is also improving the children’s grasping and understanding abilities. They can develop new skills by copying and imitating what they see in the shows. And people can learn more languages by watching shows from various countries with subtitles. For instance, various people are becoming multilingual; they are learning new languages such as Korean, Japanese, and so on. Along with languages, the customs and fashion of a country can also be known through programs and magazines. People are able to compare their culture with that of other countries. They can see the importance of one’s traditions and culture and not be ashamed of it, which many people nowadays feel.

To conclude, just like a coin has two sides, even this trend of people having access to international media like television programs and such has both benefits and drawbacks. However, I think that the advantages of this trend are greater than the drawbacks.
