Model Sample Answer 1 Band 8 - Fatherhood ought to be emphasized as much as motherhood. The idea that women are solely responsible for deciding whether or not to have babies leads on to the idea that they are also responsible for bringing the children up. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

During the 9 to 10 months of pregnancy, a woman experiences dramatic physiological and emotional changes. Therefore, a woman has the greatest right to decide whether or not she will have a child. There is a belief that when mothers assume complete responsibility for birthing decisions, she is also accountable for child rearing. I believe that this concept is completely flawed.

First, decisions regarding childbirth may be heavily influenced by the woman's preference. However, other variables are also evaluated, such as a couple's ability to financially support a child's development. Parenthood is a shared obligation apart from that. In addition to sperm donation, a father's responsibilities include changing diapers in the middle of the night. Also, an ancestor should always be active in child rearing since certain actions, such as bringing children to a sporting event, are best performed by a father figure. Therefore, a child who rarely sees their father has a bad view of him and may develop a greater bond with their mother.

Additionally, motherhood in the current period is distinct. More women are rejecting the traditional notion that housewives are restricted to the four walls of the home. Therefore, both parents should reach a consensus on how to split the duties. A mother would send the child to school, but the father would be responsible for collecting up the child after school.

In conclusion, I am convinced that it is time to abandon the notion that women should be solely responsible for child rearing. To accommodate the change in family relations that has occurred over the years, the concept of shared parenthood must be applied.

Model Sample Answer 2 Band 7.5 - Fatherhood ought to be emphasized as much as motherhood. The idea that women are solely responsible for deciding whether or not to have babies leads on to the idea that they are also responsible for bringing the children up. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The most important aspect of life is raising children, and both parents are equally accountable for doing so. Some people think that moms should make all pregnancy-related decisions. Others, though, contend that the father should be held accountable for decisions. Thus, it has both positive and negative effects. In my opinion, men and women are equally responsible for making decisions.

First off, women have left their traditional roles as housewives and begun to compete on an equal footing with men in the job market in many countries; however, women go through a number of physical and mental changes to their lifestyle, and it appears that they are particularly sensitive when deciding to have a child. For instance, Japanese employers discourage women from applying since they are aware that once they become mothers, they will quit their jobs. The largest influence on family decisions is undoubtedly motherhood.
Second, a significant element is that fathers are equally important in child-rearing methods. Men always make plans in advance, weigh risk variables, and make plans to live happy lives. In addition, men are superior to women in terms of long-term financial planning. For instance, studies found that working males save more money than women do in order to ensure their financial security in the future. Men have equal ideologies, making them important factors to take into account while making decisions.

In conclusion, it is apparent that each parent has an equal right, and that cooperation and understanding will facilitate and improve the process of raising a child. Finally, the importance of parents cannot be overstated.

Model Sample Answer 3 Band 7 - Fatherhood ought to be emphasized as much as motherhood. The idea that women are solely responsible for deciding whether or not to have babies leads on to the idea that they are also responsible for bringing the children up. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In contemporary civilizations, women have actively entered the workforce, and in several industries, they now outnumber men as employees. As a result, the roles of the two genders as parents have changed, and the question of whether both parents should bear equal responsibility for raising their children is frequently debated.

According to the traditional family role paradigm, women were responsible for childrearing, while men earned money and provided a good home. This family arrangement worked from ancient times until recently, when life wasn't that complicated and stressful. However, this pattern has significantly shifted in many regions of the world. The gap between men and women has levelled off with today's social and economic progress. Most families require both men and women to work in order to maintain stable financial situations. But how should the decision to have children and the responsibility for their upbringing be divided in these cases?

Parents have the same obligations. Both parents should collaborate when deciding whether to have children, and they should share equally in the responsibility of raising those children. Raising children together is helpful for a child's psychology and essential for personality development. Children who experience parental absence suffer harmful effects. Many single parents successfully raise their children today, but it's crucial for kids to have both.

The bottom line is that two individuals are required to carry a kid into the world and two people are required to raise a child in a healthy environment. I think it's important for parents to be involved in their kids' lives. Nature only allows a woman to become pregnant, but both parents are responsible for raising the child.

Model Sample Answer 4 Band 6.5 - Fatherhood ought to be emphasized as much as motherhood. The idea that women are solely responsible for deciding whether or not to have babies leads on to the idea that they are also responsible for bringing the children up. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Some individuals continue to insist that moms should be in charge of raising children because it is only they who decide whether or not to have children. However, I think that men may instill a feeling of self-assurance, intelligence, and give alternative perspectives, making fatherhood just as significant as motherhood in terms of raising children.

Naturally, fathers foster a sense of self-confidence in their children. In plain English, fathers give their kids a sense of emotional and physical stability. Children with affectionate fathers are more likely to develop self-esteem and are typically more confident and content as a result of their fathers' efforts to display their affection and worth. Many studies show that when fathers are supportive, it affects children's cognitive and social development, fostering self-confidence and well-being.

In a similar vein, fathers offer opposing perspectives that broaden one's outlook. The majority of the time, youngsters are naturally curious, and moms and fathers handle those interests in various ways. Active parents with different parenting styles expose children to a wide range of paradigms, honing their problem-solving skills. Fathers who are involved in their children's lives might impart their perspective on life and important life skills. This is why many child psychologists urge fathers to spend quality time with their kids.

To emphasize, dads are so important to a child's development, and that role cannot be filled by anybody else. This is because fathers give their kids more self-confidence and open their eyes to the world. The phrase "the fathers have eaten a sour grape and the children's teeth are on edge" would be my final quotation.
