In recent times, Children are very sensitive; thus, they must understand the distinction between right and wrong. However, parents and teachers believe that punishment is necessary to educate the distinction. I completely disagree with the statement, my preference and the answer of the question will be discussed further. 

To embark with, Since fear of punishment has harmful impacts on children's mental health, the majority of youngsters refuse to seek assistance from their parents or instructors, and the situation subsequently becomes hazardous. To cite an example, a survey of local papers demonstrated that children attempt to harm themselves due to the fear of getting punished by their parents. Thus, the dread of punishment will also affect their academic performance.

Furthermore, In addition, punishment causes anxiety to children, and it has negative impacts on their behaviour and academic performance. If children always feared retribution, they could not share anything with their parents. In addition, ever since instructors began administering penalties, pupils have been reluctant to raise any queries. Therefore, punishment is not a more effective means of dealing with children.

Instead of using punishment to educate their child the distinction between right and wrong, parents should set an example through their behaviours. Moreover, youngsters have a remarkable capacity to absorb information quickly after seeing it. So, a youngster will undoubtedly understand the difference between right and wrong if they see a good example.

To conclude, although it is occasionally necessary to punish children, it would be more advantageous for them if their parents taught them by providing a good example. Moreover, punishment is also not healthy for children.

In recent times, everyone will eventually realise the difference between right and wrong. However, others believe that youngsters must be punished to learn this distinction. I absolutely disagree with this statement, and my preferred response to the topic will be explained in further detail.

To begin with, whether little or large, mental or physical, retribution is never a viable option. Because the effects of punishment are not only detrimental to children, but also to their parents as well. For example, a parent's interview revealed that their child attempted suicide due to a mistake and fear of punishment since their parents are quite strict. Therefore, punishments cause parents to lose their children if the youngster is very sensitive to it.

In addition, If educators begin punishing their learners, they would never be able to pose questions or seek guidance from academics. As a consequence of this behaviour, pupils' academic performance is deteriorating. For instance, a primary school instructor was questioned because he gave unpleasant consequences to students who did not bring additional homework; thus, learners refused to attend school. Therefore, punishment is never beneficial for teaching youngsters.

Parents should acknowledge their child's mistakes to teach them the distinction between right and wrong. Instead of punishing the child, the parents should attempt to help to comprehend the underlying cause of the error. Furthermore, children never forget what they have been taught with love and respect by their parents or teachers. So, punishment is not the only option to teach them the difference.

To conclude, making children understand the right or wrong with setting an example and by realising their mistake to them is always beneficial for children than punishment.

Nowadays, at a certain age, children should understand the difference between right and wrong. While some people believe that punishment is essential in order to teach the difference to children. However, I completely disagree with the statement, and the possible approach of the question will be explained further along with my preference.  

To begin with, oftentimes, sanctions fail to deter youngsters and might even increase the frequency of their transgressions. In addition, toddlers always prefer to do things that they have been instructed not to do. Since youngsters have begun receiving punishment, they will eventually repeat the same mistakes. Therefore, punishment is inappropriate for children.

In addition, there is a substantial correlation between pain and violence. If pupils get punished by parents or teachers, then it will surely affect their behaviour and they might behave aggressively. To cite an example, an article demonstrated that, according to the research, pain through any bad incidents badly affects human’s behaviour, especially children’s behaviour. Hence, punishment will not only affect their mental health but also affect their nature.

To teach children the distinction, their parents must regularly provide advice and correction. In addition, parents should teach children about appropriate and undesirable behaviour, and also about the outcomes of particular actions, so that children can understand the difference easily. So, parents may assist their children to establish a sense of right and wrong by addressing ethical dilemmas with them. 

To conclude, although some believe that punishment is required because it has the greatest influence on children, it has more negative impacts on children's behaviour as it damages their mental health. Therefore, instruction and discipline are the most effective methods for guiding youngsters.

Nowadays, it is important for parents to teach the right path to survive in this modern world, since some people think that it is essential to punish children to educate children on the distinction between good and wrong. However, I completely agree with this statement. The possible answer of the given question and my reasons will be explained further.

To begin with, children are initially more sensitive than adults; as a result, they are susceptible to manipulation and influence. Since parents are strict towards their child, children will always think twice before doing any wrong work. For example, an article proved that, due to their dread of their parents' strictness, youngsters always choose to accept their counsel and attempt to learn right from wrong. Therefore, punishment is sometimes effective in preventing youngsters from developing harmful behaviours.

Furthermore, although punishment is not a suitable option, the fear of being punished in front of the class motivates pupils to maintain discipline. Since instructors implemented punishments, students always bring their assignments to school. For instance, according to an interview with a primary school teacher, fear of punishment is necessary for students to maintain discipline and good manners. Punishment thus has a favourable effect on a child's behaviour; but, it is only beneficial if it does not negatively impact the child's health.

Corporal discipline and emotional stress have negative consequences on children's health; thus, parents or teachers should always be careful while giving punishments. In addition, parents should administer suitable consequences so that children learn from their errors and the punishments do not injure the child. Thus, punishment should be small and safe.

To conclude, although punishment is not beneficial for children, it is always inevitable for children’s life as it teaches them discipline and manners.
