Many animal species in the world are becoming extinct nowadays. Some people say that countries and individuals should protect these animals from dying out, while others say we should concentrate more on the problems of human beings. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your knowledge or experience.

Model Sample Answer 1 Band 8 - Many animal species in the world are becoming extinct nowadays. Some people say that countries and individuals should protect these animals from dying out, while others say we should concentrate more on the problems of human beings. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Since the last decade, it has been observed that more and more animal species are becoming extinct, and therefore rather than solving human problems according to some proponents, people should try and save such species from death. Both the reasons and my inclination is discussed in the ensuing paragraphs.

The supporters of the former viewpoint state that, due to inclined globalisation, the content of chlorofluorocarbons and other acid-base gases reduces the level of oxygen and contaminates the air. Furthermore, due to more use of plastics and other polyethylenes, the water as well as surrounding land get polluted and when the animals feed on the contaminated substances it makes them sick and due to insufficient treatment, they become extinct as a result of an unfavourable environment. Therefore, we should keep the environment clean and save them.

The proponents of the latter viewpoint argue that the majority of the population living in poverty, low level of education, and fewer job opportunities as a result of the employment rate remain declined. These are certainly major problems faced by each and every individual in a developing country. In addition to this, if the administration reduces taxes and spends more money on the development of the nation rather than wasting time and resources on preserving endangered species then it will form a positive outcome which will benefit a lot to humans as every individual will get excess to basic necessities. Most importantly, the nation will become developed from the developing stage.

To conclude, I truly bolster that the government should ban the use of plastic and similar resources. Whereas, individuals should focus on preventing such endangered animals rather than keeping their problems first. If the government and people join hands surely the outcome will be affirmative.

It has been repeatedly observed that the majority of animals are dying due to unfavourable conditions. Therefore some have the notion that it is the responsibility of the civilians and people to preserve them from extinction. However, some argue that there are several severe problems threatening people that require immediate solutions. Both viewpoints are discussed in the below paragraphs.

On one hand, individuals claim that animals, plants, humans, and the atmosphere are interconnected. As a result of this if either of the above components gets extinct it will eventually imbalance the other components. In addition to this, naturally, toxic plants as well as insects and other animals that prey on certain pets, are used by farmers to control harmful insects. Furthermore, a wide variety of animal species benefit from agriculture. Unlike synthetic chemicals, they are safe, effective, and inexpensive options. Therefore, each species has a special place in nature and needs to be protected.

On the other hand, human problems and safety come first. In this modern period, terror has becomes dominated, therefore the government should focus more on the safety of the nation and individuals than on preventing endangered species. For instance, the administration should spend money on the equipment of the army soldiers so that when in need the nation has well-maintained tools during the defence period.

To sum up and offer my position, I truly believe that although the safety of the nation comes prior, if the species of animals go extinct that the entire ecosystem will be disturbed therefore on the basis of humanity it is our need and responsibility to conserve these animals.

In today’s day and age, it is a top priority to solve human issues as they are more serious and practical. Whereas, a few others counterclaim that animals play a crucial role in the lifecycle and therefore their savings is mandatory. Both sides are discussed in the below essay. 

The supporters of the former viewpoint state that, in order to keep history alive and in this globalisation era as lesser students are aware of history it is the duty of the nation to keep the young generation up to date with antiquity. For that reason, the administration should spend the funding on museums to maintain them with the antiques. For example, the government should reduce the ticket prices, and should keep all the tools polished in order to entice more and more individuals to learn.

The proponents of the latter viewpoint state that it is necessary to protect animals from extinction. Dairy products and meat products are obtained mainly from mammals. Moreover, these products are protein-rich which helps to maintain the immune system and helps to remain fit and energetic. Therefore, if these animals get extinct we will only be restricting ourselves to greens and will no longer remain healthy. 

To recapitulate, I firmly believe that animals provide edible products which are good for health, also the dairy products rich in proteins and calcium helps to maintain bone density and due to these benefits they should be provided a better environment than giving importance to human problems and letting animals die.

Currently, more and more animal species are on the verge of extinction and some people have the notion that it is the responsibility of the government and the people to save them from dying. However, a few others state that human problems are more serious and essential to focus on. Both the viewpoints are discussed with my preference below.

On one side of the argument, it has been said that humans are developed living beings with their presence of mind and have the capability to save themselves if stuck in any disaster. But, the animals are dependent and it is our duty to save all these rare species which will not only increase the biodiversity but will also keep the ecology maintained.

Conversely, overpopulation is the major issue in each and every nation and therefore the administration should educate each and every individual living in the country and help them provide strategies to survive from being unemployed people. They should work on some or the other sources and this care should be taken by the government to provide job opportunities and some form of funds to fulfil basic daily requirements

To conclude, funds and jobs are to be provided to the illiterate and people living below the poverty line to help them to survive. But, to help save the animals comes at the top as everything is linked to them and if they get extinct there will be an imbalance in the ecosystem which will affect all the other components such as humans, plants and the atmosphere.
