Technological advancement helps to improve communication between persons who are associated with business and social commitments which has an immense positive impact for both the personal and professional sectors. However, there are some disadvantages which can affect the entire process of work or social life. This essay inspects the benefits and drawbacks of not communicating in person.

The advantages of using modern technology for communication of job and home purposes are clearly seen. Many people are able to communicate from any part of the world to anywhere with the help of video and audio communication services like Google meet, zoom, and Microsoft teams. And employees can work on any particular project in spite of not sharing the same roof of the workplace and can save the energy, time and the convenience of the employees as well as the cost of accommodation and travelling can be reduced. Moreover, it allows companies to achieve milestones easily as every specialist of different branches can be involved in the same projects.

On the other hand, digitalization has negative effects on both commercial and social sectors. Confidential data and Information shared among employees from different departments of different branches are prone to theft or may become the victim of cyber attacks like phishing or spyware. Furthermore, socially the use of technology can affect emotional attachment.

In conclusion, the use of technology from a business point of view can have many merits but using the internet to communicate or share confidential data can be risky. Despite some disadvantages, the advantages of technological advancement in commercial and social sectors outweigh the disadvantages.

Nowadays, a growing number of businesses and individuals depend on technology to communicate with others. Furthermore, face-to-face interaction is declining in both the personal and professional sectors due to the increasing demand for digital communication. However, there are other positives and cons which are associated with the use of technology for communication.

Firstly, there are so many advantages of relying on technology for a business to work as it can save a lot of time of employees, accommodation costs can also be reduced as business requires a lot of domestic as well as international business trips which can be replaced by video telephony software like Skype, Google meet and many more. Employees can also give their best as there will not be any travelling, so they can not feel exhausted and they can focus on their business deal or conference. 

On the other hand, there might be a case of a security breach where the hackers can access unauthorised data which is confidential. For example, the data of domino's pizza which was hacked by hackers was available on the dark web. The network issue may cause some technical problems in meetings or while discussing the business and individuals speaking to each other and small issues like this can result in a huge loss.  

To conclude, there are rewards and risks to using technology for communication as compared to face-to-face interaction. However, demerits like data loss and misunderstandings might be a major disadvantage of the technology but still, the advantages exceed the disadvantages.

Nowadays, having a good conversation using wireless technology like a laptop, smartphones and many more. People can talk to anyone from any corner of the world and can help to build their start-up which was not possible in earlier days. Businesses can save a lot of money with the help of technology like the cost of travel, accommodation and many more. Moreover, children living abroad can be made assured that they are not missing their studies and are safe.

Firstly, some argue that digital communication is failing as a result of a decline in interaction abilities. In terms of social interactions, the present generation, for instance, is extremely offensive. In the past, our grandparents and great-grandparents lived in the same house and spent fun with each other, a tradition that is missing in today's modern generation. However, technological evolution has resulted in multiple scams related to privacy. For instance, Meta, which owns Facebook, Whatsapp, and Instagram, the most popular social media applications used to steal data, is raising a question about a privacy policy.

In conclusion, we should utilise all the modern technologies but we should use the technology wisely for the betterment of the company or personal growth.

Anybody can relax in the comfort of home and do business with the help of business communication platforms like microsoft teams, google meet and many more. Individuals can be in touch with their family members from any corner of the world and the attachment can be maintained. Moreover, there are certain applications for predicting the profit or sales of the product the company is manufacturing.

In contrast, the same information used by applications for predicting the sales or product of the manufacturer can be hacked or used by unauthorized persons and the confidentiality of the company’s data can be breached.
