Some people feel that the overexploitation of forests has had a greater influence on our planet than those who believe that global warming is the most pressing issue we must address right now. In my opinion, it is vital to explore the inherent details on all sides and reach a reasonable decision.

To start with, others believe deforestation can cause more severe environmental damage. In the beginning, fauna and flora may lose a vast array of habitats due to the escalation of human activities, which may degrade the condition of nature and ultimately limit biodiversity. Another intrinsic reason is that loss of trees may impact air quality. Forests are sometimes referred to as the lungs of the planet due to their ability to absorb greenhouse gases, such as the capacity to consume carbon dioxide and generate oxygen for our environment.

On the other hand, deforestation has several downsides. As stated previously, it will increase pollution since carbon dioxide emissions will be decreased. Additionally, deforestation damages animals and causes a social imbalance.

To start with, global warming is the most devastating problem for a variety of reasons. Initially, it produces climatic change, such as a pronounced rise or fall in temperature. Many people believe that global warming is one of the greatest threats to climate change in the modern era, whereas a minority of people believe that deforestation has severe global consequences. Nonetheless, I believe that the second alternative makes more sense than the first.

First and foremost, we must recognize that the rate of deforestation greatly exceeds the rate of forest creation. The world's largest rainforest, the Amazon, which spans nine countries in South America, is being deforested at an alarming rate to satisfy the global demand for land, which many manufacturers require to establish factories. Due to this, many animal and plant species, as well as indigenous people, are being displaced from their native habitats. According to estimates, the Amazon is responsible for 20% of the world's oxygen production; therefore, the destruction of these forests will have nothing but negative effects.

In addition, the combustion of fossil fuels by factories, vehicles, and forest fires raises the earth's temperature, resulting in severe global climate change.
