Introduction:
In recent decades, bags have become a necessity rather than a luxury. People need a certain space to take their belongings carefully, whether a lunch box or a pile of clothes. I wanted to buy a laptop bag for the office.

What kind of bag is it?
I’m looking for a laptop bag with lots of space for my laptop and its accessories. It has to be lightweight and easy to carry. It must have not more than two compartments. Since there are many brands available in the market, such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Apple, etc., I prefer HP laptop bags for their variety. I like HP’s various bags in blue and black. Sometimes, they sell unique designs to attract customers. However, I’m planning to buy the HP’s Odyssey Nylon backpack worth 2,500 INR.

Where do you want to buy it?
Even though online shopping is offering great discounts for HP products, especially for bags, I want to explore the nearby HP’s physical store and buy a suitable one. There is one HP store located 5 km away from my house. I can go anytime between 9 am and 10 pm. 

This weekend I will go and get a brand new laptop bag and avail of my vouchers that are almost expired. If possible, I will get additional features like an HP keychain, water bottle, etc.

How much is the cost?
The HP backpack's price range varies from 700 INR to 2500 INR based on the size, quality and colour. Before ordering the product, ensure that it is free of shipping delivery charges. 

Why do you want this kind of bag?
I need this kind of bag to serve my personal as well as official purposes. Since I travel once a week to different cities, I need a highly durable bag that bears all weather conditions. Moreover, it must carry all gadgets, personal stuff, etc., to wherever I go. 

Model Answer 2:

Introduction:
I’m planning to buy a travel backpack for long trips and other adventurous rides like trekking. People who love to travel to faraway places and visit different parts of the world must have a durable bag that lasts long.  

What kind of bag is it?
A travel bag with a complete stock of laptop holders, water-resistant fabric, inner back padding support, a large shoe compartment, and other travel accessories. 
The travel backpack also contains a detachable daypack or camping bag rucks.
Since the lining material is polyester, it guarantees the best quality out in the market.
The trekking backpack dimensions are 88 x 32 CM, which is bigger than an average backpack.
Moreover, it has premium quality buckles, O-rings, and adjustable straps. 

Where do you want to buy it?
First, I will see the customer reviews available on various online shopping websites.
Then I will visit the nearby shop and check its quality in hand.
Once I feel comfortable with the product, I will buy it either online or offline based on the availability and payment options.
If it’s online, I have the option to return it, whereas, in shops, I can’t return it if the bag is not in good condition. 
 Anyways, I will buy it next month once the salary is credited.

How much does it cost?
The cost of a 95-litre waterproof travel backpack for trekking, hiking, and camping outdoor camps is Rs. 5,500/- If I buy this bag on Amazon I can save Rs. 3,901/- Additionally, there are EMI options available with zero down payment. 

Why do you want this kind of bag?
I need this kind of bag to survive in all terrains, carrying necessary accessories. All my clothes, shoes, charger, laptop, and other eatables must be accommodated in one bag. So, I don’t need to bring any other luggage.  

Model Answer 3:

Introduction:
As you know schools and colleges were closed due to the Covid-19 lockdown, and all classes took place online. There was no scope for notebooks, shoes, bags, etc. But now, in the post-pandemic era, all educational institutions have reopened, so I need to buy a new bag for myself. 

What kind of bag is it?
It’s a big size bag that can accommodate a 17-inch screen laptop, books, a water bottle, a USB charger, and some eatables.
The bag must be durable enough to take it anywhere. In case I need to take a long trip, the bag should carry a pile of clothes without damaging the zip and buckles.
The bag must be waterproof so that it doesn’t damage my laptop during the rainy season.
The bag must contain multiple compartments for stationery, USB portal, keys, and harmful items like scissors. 

Where do you want to buy it?
I want to buy this bag on 2nd lane beach road, Broadway. 
Next week while visiting my relatives on Broadway I will purchase this bag. 
I will use my new credit card for payment. 
If they don’t accept credit cards, I must withdraw cash as I don’t carry money in hand.

How much is the cost?
The bag cost is around Rs. 2,350/- in the market. If I buy it in my friend’s shop, I will get a discount of 10%.

Why do you want this kind of bag?
I want this kind of bag to satisfy my personal and academic needs. Moreover, it gives comfort and a royal look. The grey colour is easy to get stained but it can be cleaned easily. 

Model Answer 4:

Introduction:
While taking a stroll in the shopping mall, I saw this beautiful bag in Louis Vuitton exclusively made for business purposes. I wanted to have one for my official trip. 

What kind of bag is it?
It’s a business bag for men made of pure leather. The outer skin is soft and sleek with different features and style. The strap given is removable and adjustable. It has one large compartment, 2 pockets in the inside, one laptop compartment and a magnetic S-Lock clasp. The overall look takes you back to the traditional briefcase. 

Where do you want to buy it?
I’m going to buy this bag in the Louis Vuitton showroom at Express Avenue. Since it is quite expensive, I will book this bag now by making an advance payment and purchasing it the day after tomorrow. Since it’s a multinational brand, the shop will accept all forms of payment, whether cash, debit or credit card. I’m planning to buy it on a weekday to avoid an unnecessary crowd. Moreover, if I buy this product during a national festival, the price will be further reduced, offering a discount or reward. 

How much is the cost?
The cost is approximately Rs. 9,555/- inclusive of all taxes. Unfortunately, there are no offers or discounts given during this festival season. 

Why do you want this kind of bag?
I want this kind of bag mainly because of its brand. I personally like the Louis Vuitton bags that come with luxury and a royal outlook. Each bag is tailor-made based on the customer’s needs and delivered to them in a well-packed manner.

IELTS Speaking Test Part 3: Follow up Questions

1.Why do you think women like to buy bags?
Generally, women are attracted to fashion and style. Since bags are more of a fashionable product, women like to buy bags, especially handbags to carry their mobile phones, cards, money, and a mini-makeup kit.  

2.Is the backpack practical in life?
Absolutely yes. Since people started travelling to faraway places now and then, they need a backpack to carry their things safely. 

3.In the future, what changes will bags have?
In the future, bags might have detailed compartments, exclusively for various gadgets, books, food, etc. The bag makers give more emphasis to comfort and style. At the same time, raise the price to the next level.

4.Why do children need to carry uniform school bags?
I think children need to learn the idea of equality. Since schools are the best place to instil good values, the management wants all children to carry uniform school bags to encourage equality amongst them. 

5.Why are some people willing to buy expensive bags?
Some people are willing to buy expensive bags out of addiction. Since expensive bags look elegant and have extra features to carry fashionable items, people buy them without thinking further. 

6.Do you think buying a bag is necessary for our survival?
Pretty much. In layman's terms, a bag is necessary when you want to store or carry things from one place to another whether it’s your food or your expensive items like a diamond necklace. Overall, it gives you a sense of security.
