When I think of an athlete the first name that comes to my mind is Milka Singh. As I am also an athlete myself, I can never ignore his name.

Who is he?
Milka Singh is an Indian sprinter also known as The Flying Sikh. He first served the Indian Army from where he was introduced to sports. He comes from Punjab and has participated in several national and international athletic competitions.

How do you know him?
I know him as I too am a runner and have participated in sports. He is admired by all the Indian athletes for his achievements and contributions for India. There is a biopic that came out which gave him more popularity.

What has he achieved?
He has achieved many gold medals in the Asian Games for 200m and 400m races. He has also won a gold medal in the Commonwealth games. He has also participated in many National games and won medals. He was honoured with the Padma Shri, India's 4th highest civilian honour, in recognition of his achievements in sports.

And explain why he is famous?
Milka Singh set a 400m national record of 45.73 seconds which made him famous in the later years. He has also represented India in the Summer Olympics 3 times. He missed a medal in the 1960 Olympics by a millisecond where he came fourth.

Conclusion:
He has led high positions in several sports organisations and he is still one of my favourite athletes. His death was a shock to all the people who loved him.

Introduction: 
Neeraj Chopra is an athlete who was hailed recently for his performance in the Tokyo Olympics. He is someone who quickly comes to mind when I think of an athlete as he was a recent internet sensation.

Who is he?
Neeraj Chopra is a professional javelin thrower from India. He has represented India in several competitions from a young age. Recently he participated in the Tokyo olympics conducted in 2021. He comes from Haryana.

How do you know him?
I know him from his recent success in the Tokyo Olympics where he won a gold medal in javelin throw. His throw shocked the world and he became world famous after that competition. 

What has he achieved?
He has received so many medals. He won a gold medal in the National Junior Championship in 2021. He has also won a gold medal in the 2108 Asian games. At a young age of 20 he received the Arjuna Award from the President of India. 

And explain why he is famous?
He became famous because of his achievements at such a young age. He became an inspiration for many youngsters to come to the field of sports. He also got fame when he broke his own National record in javelin throw.

Conclusion:
India is a country with such brilliant athletes and it is our duty to support such people to bring India to new heights.

Introduction:
I feel that sports should be an integral part of our lives to keep ourselves healthy. Virat Kohli is one such person who focuses on his fitness to keep his form in the game of cricket. 

Who is he?
Virat Kohli is an Indian cricket player from Delhi. He is now part of the National cricket team. He started his cricket career by playing in the Delhi under-15 team. In 2008 Virat Kohli started playing for the Indian National team.

How do you know him?
I know him as I frequently watch cricket on television. He is very well noticed by people for his playing style. I never miss a cricket match by India and am also an admirer of Virat’s batting. 

What has he achieved?
He became the Indian team captain at the age of 29. He is the recipient of Padma Shri and Khel Ratna Awards. He was listed as the world's most famous athlete by Forbes magazine. Being the captain he has also led his team to win many International matches. 

And explain why he is famous?
Virat Kohli is famous for his playing style and aggression in the field. He is often compared to Sachin Tendulkar which tells us how good he is at the game. He is praised for his dedication and hardwork to improve his play after each game. He also became popular when he recently married the actress Anushka Sharma.

Conclusion:
I wish he continues playing well and achieving more in cricket and give India more things to be proud of.

Introduction:
I am going to talk about one of the greatest footballers in the world’s history. Ronaldo is one of the best and richest football players.

Who is he?
Cristiano Ronaldo is a football player from Portugal.  He plays as a forward for the Premier League club called Manchester United. He is the captain of the Portugal national team. Over the years Ronaldo has become the most popular football player in the world. 

How do you know him?
I have been a football player since childhood and Ronaldo is my role model. I can never miss his match on television. I also watch his games closely to learn his tricks and tactics. Mostly I watch football just to see his style of playing. 

What has he achieved?
He is Manchester United’s top scorer. He has received 5 Ballon d'Or awards in his lifetime. He holds the record for most goals and assists in the UEFA Champions League. He has won a total of 300 awards and medals since the beginning of his career in football.

And explain why he is famous?
He has played for the Portuguese National football team and also football clubs like Juventus and Real Madrid. His celebration after scoring a goal is iconic and people love imitating his style. He is also the richest football player with a good collection of expensive cars. He also takes time for philanthropic activities in different parts of the world.
