Describe a part of your city that is changing- Model answer 1

Introduction:
Changes are must, some changes are good to the atmosphere and to the people and some are bad to the atmosphere and to the people. Here I am going to talk about the changes that occurred in our city.

Which part of the city is it?
Here I am going to talk about a part of our city named as Vengadu. That area appears like a village,  where most of the people were having cows, poultry farms, and agricultural lands. People in that area were not well educated and they didn't have a good job.

How is it changing?
At the beginning people in that area would migrate to the main city due to various reasons. They don’t have the basic facilities like the market, stationery shops etc. they need to travel to the city to buy everything. But now it seems like one of the best areas in my city. At present there are so many corporate companies running, people in the main city are getting job opportunities.

Why is it channing?
In those villages there are many agricultural lands, so many corporate companies  owners were buying their land from the land owners. And they provided many employment opportunities, so people were migrating to the place. When people gathered in a particular place automatically the changes would happen, like new shops were opened etc.

Conclusion:
People were expecting changes in their place, at the same time they were avoiding it. Due to various causes.

Describe a part of your city that is changing- Model answer 2

Introduction:
In this modern world, each and every city is going through small or big changes. There is both good and bad hidden in those changes. Here I am going to talk about the changes which happen in this part of my city.

Which part of the city is it?
It is located in the northside of my city,  also that is the only way for going to another city. Now it is changing a lot with new things. It seems surprising to the people who pass that road regularly.

How is it changing?
First, that way seems like traveling through a cave which is built with trees. The  road is filled with trees and lakes on both sides. It looks so beautiful and very pleasant. If a person goes through it for the first time they love the way. But now it looks like empty land. The government was cutting down the trees to expand the roads.  It is changing like a highway.

Why is it channing?
Government of our city decided to expand the road to prevent traffic. Before expanding that road it was only a 2 lane road where many accidents also happen. At night time we can't even get a good light to pass the road, because the trees covered the road like a cave. Also the surrounding area from that changing part ever developed as industrial areas, so most of the time that area had a lot of traffic. To avoid traffic, roads are being expanded by the government.

Conclusion:
It's ok to lose one thing to get another thing as better.

Describe a part of your city that is changing- Model answer 3

Introduction
We all need a change in any one case, we feel it is good while comparing to old. We were facing so many changes in day to day life. Here I am going to talk about the major changes, which people were using as a landmark.

Which part of the city is it?
At the beginning it was also a part of my city, where we could see streams, small ponds and farming lands. Now it was separated and named as another city.

How is it changing?
It was changing with new buildings. Yes the private builder bought all the farming lands and started constructing apartments and it was named as XXX city. Where the people can get all the facilities like hospitals, schools, collage, shops, market etc. in that one place. As customers buy their house, the builder expands the width of land and constructs other facilities like mall, theaters.

Why is it channing?
It is all only for the commercial purpose, also as a business strategy. Nowadays people would like to live a luxurious way, also they were expecting to get everything in the one compound.  If he gets 10 customers who would buy their house for ‘n’ amount, then he will get some money and he will expand the area with some other new facilities. Then he advertised it to earn 10 other new customers.

Conclusion:
Agriculture lands cannot be used for constructing property. It results in a loss of earning income from agriculture, many people were also affected without income because they were depending on the agriculture lands.

Describe a part of your city that is changing- Model answer 4

Introduction
We can’t expect the change, when it will happen and everything. It can happen at any time or in any situation. Also changes will happen only when the people get affected from the old. Here I am going to talk about the changes which happen in my area where I am living.

Which part of the city is it?
As I am living in one of the popular areas of my city, it is also the place which is high in the cost of living. Because it is an industrial area, so many peoples from different districts were migrating from their native to my place.

How is it changing?
As my area was fully filled with many kinds of houses, we cannot see a single part of the area as empty.  So most of the people in my area decided to do terrace gardening. Yes it is impossible to cultivate all the vegetables and fruits in the terrace and it is impossible to cultivate for our climate condition. But they were cultivating some available vegetables and fruits.

Why is it channing?
When the living cost gets higher, people in my area are affected a lot. As the population increases vendors also increase the cost of the product. People were not able to manage it so they started terrace gardening to avoid a small part of expense from their earning.

Conclusion:
Terrace farming is not only a profitable work, but also environmental sanitation. It is not only for harvesting vegetables, it also helps us to get good fresh air, and helps to live a healthy life.

Describe a part of your city that is changing- IELTS speaking part 3 follow up questions

This part 3 of the IELTS speaking test was conducted in about 4-5 minutes, here the candidates will be asked to respond to the given follow up questions. Now here are some follow up questions for the topic describe a part of your city that is changing. It was given below as a sample, use it for your future major exams.

1.Are the changes in the cities good or bad?
We could not assume it correctly, because there are both pros and cons. Here are a few samples for both pros and cons. If the village starts to change as an industrial area, the pros are the people in the village will get employment opportunities, and also they will get some other facilities. Then the cons are that the atmosphere of the village will be totally spoiled for example agricultural lands will be affected, air pollution will cause noise  pollution, land pollution and water pollution will cause.

2. How do people react to them?
At the beginning people will welcome it  warmly, if the changes were really helpful to them they enjoy the benefit of it. If not, they are the people who also face the problems which are caused by the changes like constructing companies. At first they were welcoming it warmly and made use of it later they were facing many causes like air, land, water, noise pollution, etc.

3.Which facilities should the government make available for people?
Government should provide all the basic facilities to the village, like well constructed roads, medical shops, hospitals etc. because these are very common to the area which has more than 100 families, but still there are so many villages which don't have these kinds of facilities.

4.Should a government consider local people's opinion when deciding on changes in the city?
Of Course yes, the government should consult with the local people, before deciding on changes in the cities. Because they are the people who were going to face the troubles when the construction was helding. Or at least the government should provide an alternate solution to the local people for the troubles which they are going to face.

5.What kind of changes were happening in the part of the cities?
Changes were done by both government and private groups, government were constructing new metro ways, new roads, etc. private groups were constructing new apartments, private companies etc.
