Introduction:
India is the only country which is covered by three sides of water, Bay of Bengal, Arabic ocean and Indian ocean. Not only the ocean it has so many rivers which gives many benefits to the Indian, specifically there are17 rivers in Tamil nadu here some name of the rivers, they are palar, varaha nadhi, ponnaiyar, vellar, paravanar, cauvery, agniyar etc..
Which water body is that?
Here i am going to talk about the ponnaiyar river, it is also known as Dakshina pinakini in kannada in tamil it is known as Thenpennai or ponnaiyar river. Bangalore, Hosur, Thiruvanamalai and Cuddalore are the major cities on the bank of ponnaiyar river. This is the second largest river in Tamil nadu.
How do you know about it?
I learnt it from a magazine, but I don't exactly remember which magazine it was. They gave so much information about the river, but I have forgotten some points about the river. The river originates in the Nandhi hills in the Chikkaballapura district of karnataka and it flows through tamil nadu, water flows during the monsoon season, when it is fed by the south-west monsoon and the northeast monsoon.
What are the benefits of the river?
Farmers in Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Tiruvannamalai,Villupuram and Cuddalore were getting water from this river for agriculture irrigation, not only for the irrigation people in some villages in this district were using this river water as drinking water.
Why does it impress you so much?
While reading about the Thenpennai river in the magazine, they mention that it has many sub basins. It made me search about this river in google, then I came to know that it was totally 19 basins. Also, I have gathered so much information about the Thenpennai river from google.
Conclusion:
Water bodies are very important to the people, but some companies and factors, and people were exploiting it by polluting the water bodies. People must know the uses of water and they should stop polluting it.

Introduction:
Without water we can not live as simple as say- no water, no life. Like that Rivers and lakes are very important to our day to day life, those are the large water bodies that contain freshwater which is used as drinking water and also for irrigation.
Which water body is that?
Here I am going to talk about the Sepik river which is the longest river on the island of New Guinea, and it is the second largest in Oceania by discharge volume after the fly river. This river flows through the Papua New Guinea, provinces of Sandaum and East Sepik, with a small section flowing through the Indonesia province of Papua.
How do you know about it?
I have learnt it during my school days,when I was in 10 th standard,it was given in the geographic book it was given in the geographic book. It has a large watershed area, and landforms along with swamplands, tropical rainforests and mountains. Often it is said to be the largest unpolluted freshwater wetland system in the Asia-Pacific region.
What are the benefits of the river?
Almost entirely of the products from the river, the Sepik river provides them with food, drinking water, washing and transport. The local economy was increased on the sale of sago, fish, freshwater prawns, eels, turtles and the eggs and skin meat of crocodiles.
Why does it impress you so much?
Sepik river is the longest free flowing river system with 1500 lakes and other associated wetlands, also it is the only river which has a freshwater basin in the whole Asia Pacific region.

Introduction:
A body of water or waterbody means surface waters including rivers, streams, lakes and wetlands, here I am going to talk about the largest river in the United States and North America.
Which water body is that?
As mentioned above I am going to talk about the Mississippi River which is the second largest river system in the United States and North America. The river originates at lake Itasca and empties Below New Orleans in the Gulf of Mexico. Along with its major tributary, the Missouri river, the river drains all states in the U.S.
How do you know about it?.
I heard about this river in an exhibition, on my vacation. Also they said so much information about this river, native Americans have lived through the Mississippi River and its tributaries for millennium years , most of the hunters- gatherers, but some such as the Mound Builders, formed prolific framing and urban civilization.
What are the benefits of the river?.
The Mississippi River is famous for the industrialization of the United States. The river is a major source of renewable energy, also providing drinking water for millions of people. And also it helps those people by commercially promoting fish species.
Why does it impress you so much?
As i mentioned above i have herded this river in an exhibition, there they have explained about many rivers. But among all those rivers it created more interest in me to learn more about this river, so once I returned home I googled about this river, then I came to know about a lot of information about the Mississippi river. It is the river which is the third largest river basin in the World, it is the home to 25% of all Northern American fish species.
Conclusion:
Not only the older are much interested in earning nowadays aboriginal peoples are also showing their interest in earning.

This last section,in the IELTS speaking test, was conducted for about 4-5 minutes. Here the examiner will ask a random question about the topic which is given to the candidate. Yes, it is a more suitable place for both children and old people to spend their leisure time, because mostly kids love to play in the sand so for sure they love to spend their time on the beach and old people spend leisure time on the beach by walking and enjoying the air.
5.Is there much water transportation in your country?
Yes, as i live in the south of India, there is a long coastline, here water transportation is usual.
6. Do people travel by boat in your country?
Absolutely yes, people living in coastal areas in my country travel by boat for some distances.
7.How important is water in daily life?
It is very much necessary in our life- for each and every activity we use water also the basic is to drink. As simple water comes under the basic necessities they are air, water, shelter and cloth.
8.How important are rivers and lakes to the cities where they are located?
Water bodies are very important, especially to the agricultural areas, without water they cannot do anything in agriculture. Not only for the farmers, also people in that area will get more benefits from rivers and lakes.
9.Do the rivers in your country suffer from serious pollution?
Yes, water bodies were getting polluted by humans. It is a big issue, not only by humans, but also by companies and factories mixing waste chemicals and other waste in water bodies, that is why the government of India has taken some measures to control pollution in water bodies.
10.What kind of benefits did people get from rivers, lakes and from other water bodies?
Water bodies may give many benefits to people, like farmers get benefits from water bodies, they use them for irrigation for agriculture land, in most villages there are some ponds in their area where they get water for their use for daily activities (drinking, washing, bathing,etc).
